1. What is heritage? What does cultural heritage include?
Ans:- Heritage is a country’s rich culture and diversity.
Cultural heritage includes historical buildings or monuments, paintings,
dance, music, literature, religion and festivals.
2. What is a Stupa?
Ans:- Stupas are the semi-circle roof shaped structures which are
associated with Buddha. Example – The Stupa at Sanchi.
3. Which old temple looks like a chariot? Where is it located?
Ans:- The Sun temple looks like chariot. It is located at Konark, Odisha.
4. Where is Victoria Memorial located?
Ans:- Victoria Memorial is located in Kolkata on the banks of the
Hooghly river.
5. What do you know about Taj Mahal?
Ans:- When members of a royal family died in olden times, they were
buried in tombs. Taj Mahal is one of them. It is made of white marble,
located on the banks of the river Yamuna, in Agra.
