(b) Derive the condition of maximum power transfer to a purely resistive load 04
in a dc circuit.
(c) In the circuit shown below in Fig. 7, vs(t) = 10u(t) V. Assume that at t=0, 07
1A current flows through the inductor in upward direction and 5V is across
the capacitor with upper plate being positive. Determine voltage across
capacitor for all time t >= 0, by applying Laplace transform.

Before switching takes place, the voltage across capacitor and current
through the inductor are zero. Calculate the valus of I, di/dt and d2i/dt2 at
time t=0+. Take V = 200V, R=10 Ohm, L=2H and C=10µF.
