1 INTRODUCTION
This manual is a guide to Carimanager BlueDot software.
Carimanager BlueDot software allows Bluedot machines to communicate, via cable, with
a PC for assistance, monitoring and configuration operations.
2 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
For correct use of the Carimanager BlueDot, the minimum requirements are:

When the next screen comes up, press on the “NEXT” button.

Change the destination directory for the installation by clicking on
the “BROWSE” button. Press “NEXT” to confirm.

3.1 ".NET FRAMEWORK" INSTALLATION
WARNING
If the “.NET FRAMEWORK” file does not meet the minimum re-
quirements, it will need to be updated.

3.2 DRIVER INSTALLATION
To proceed with driver installation, the BlueDot machine needs to
be connected to the PC by USB cable.
NOTE
Connect the USB cable to the mini-usb socket of the card on the
machine.

ATTENTION
When the machine has been connected, the client-PC should im-
mediately detect it.
The user needs to open the control panel for the devices (Control
panel → Device control).

Right click on “USB_CDC0_0” and then select “Update software
driver” and search for the driver provided.

Wait for the updated drivers to be searched and installed.
At the end of the upgrade, the following window will open on the
PC monitor.

3.3 UNINSTALLING
To uninstall the Carimanager BlueDot software, it is necessary to
access the “Control Panel” from the PC.
Press “YES” to confirm the process and wait for the uninstall to
finish.

4 SOFTWARE ACTIVATION
After completing the software installation process, the relevant
icon will appear on the PC desktop.

Select the “Compatibility” tab and tick alongside the string “Run
this program as administrator”.

5 SOFTWARE LAUNCH/CLOSURE
NOTE
It is possible to launch the software by double-clicking with the
left button of the mouse on the BlueDot icon, or right-clicking
and selecting the “Open” option.
NOTE
It is possible to close the software by clicking on the ”X” in the top
right or from the “FILE” menu in the top left corner and choosing
“EXIT”.

5.1 LOGIN
After launching the software, the user is required to complete the
Login by entering User and Password.
This request decides the type of user and influences the avail-
ability of some settings.
NOTES
For practical purposes and completeness of information, we
will illustrate the screens that can be see with level 5 password
(technical) here below.

If the access data are not correct, the message “Wrong Pass-
word” will be displayed.

7 SOFTWARE SESSION OPTIONS
Carimanager BlueDot software offers the user two possible oper-
ating modes:
7.1 ONLINE
At the moment of connection the software will read the machine’s
current configuration and it will allow the setting of doses and
parameters only, based on the match with the connected device.
Through the direct link, the user will be able to save the current
device configuration and also to directly tune the doses.

and delays for some product components in graphic form.

Once enabled, the Energy Save feature will be applied only when
the machine is powered on. The software will check if the energy
save is working constantly based on five conditions:
●● User presence, if a user is not being detected.
●● Cup presence, if a cup is not being detected.
●● Timer Timeout, based on a field “time setting” configured before.
●● Drink selection, if a drink is not being dispensed.
●● Button touch, if a button has not been pressed.
If all of these conditions are valid, the energy save runs and a
screensaver will appear on the screen.
The energy save will be maintained until one of the listed condi-
tion is no longer valid. At the return from the energy save, the
boiler and steam heating screen will show while the boiler and the
steam boiler return to dispense threshold set point.
