Objective of the project
OUR VISION- is to supply traveling bags that make the journey – : “A Really happy and
safe journey”

OUR MISSION – Is to provide “fashionable and secured bags at reasonable rates”.

To enrich a journey into a “world class experience and make their travelers feel secured
and tension free”.

By adding a security feature in a luggage bag so that the passenger or the carrier of this bag,
can have a can have a a luggage bag ,with a security feature in built in it.

The bags will be provided at very reasonable rates. The additional features of course
will increase the prices as compared to the old kind of bags but the price hike will be
very nominal which is at very normal rates.

The bags are available at a very reasonable prices. The features will add to a very

nominal price hike.But the features will justify the price of the product

The bags will serve to all the sections, weather elite class or upper middle class and even they

serve lower middle class.

Idea generation of Product
This idea came into my mind when I was traveling to Delhi the journey was a night
journey and at the morning when the train arrived at the Delhi station. A fellow passenger
who was traveling with his family to attend a wedding in Delhi was searching for his bag
and his bag contained the jewellry and the precious material and good amount of money
but it was not there and the journey was not so happy for them .
By observing their condition the idea came into my mind that if the delivery agents
can have the GPS tracker bags from which we can trace the location of that person so
why not the luggage bag should have such a GPS tracker so that we can we can locate
the luggage at the point which it is lost so that our journey can be safe , secure and
very happy journey.

IDEA SCREENING
Many ideas came into my mind regarding gps tracker like to install alarm , remote
control bags but all these ideas get cancel out because I choose the idea of installing
tracker with inbuilt application in one of the compartment of the bag and the reason to
choose the best idea out of all came after screening on the various parameters like SWOT
analysis , competitive analysis etc lead to came out with the best idea of developing gps
tracker luaggage bags .

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Overview: The luggage tracking system is designed to track the luggage and bags which
gets lost or theft from public and other areas. As people travel, there is always a risk of theft of
the luggage and bags which is where the proposed system comes into account. The luggage
tracking system works on an alarm basis where an alarm is set up with the arduino uno board
and a GPS module. Also the alarm is turned on as soon as the bag is theft and goes outside a
particular range. Furthermore, a map is created through which we can track the location of the
bag as it moves, as the markers are dropped which in a way gives us the location of the bag as it
moves away from the owner. In this, the IoT components are being used like Arduino Board and
a GPS Module in order to track the bag and a frontend or mobile application is created in order
to monitor.

NEED- The luggage bag can be lost irrespective of any situation and condition this may
cause a huge trouble because the luggage may contain some important documents and the
precious items that can be lost with the people can lose their important material generally it is
seen that the people or get robbed in public areas like airports bus station railway stations and
others also people can never forget their luggage bags which can import which have
necessary and important items in it.

Security needs

THE bags with the GPS tracking system will help to help the back to be secured as when it is
lost in it their location can be traced and the carrier of the blue luggage can easily go and take it
back and so it will add a security feature in it so that our journey can be safe.

Nowadays every person is ready to pay an extra penny for an extra feature. the luggage always
contains some amount of hard cash valuable materials data passenger carry with them it is not
possible that a luggage only and only have , clothings and accessories in it the luggage will
definitely have some precious precious things like jewelry cash and others so we can say that
security features can also aid to satisfaction of financial needs

Psychological need
Now the population is very much concerned about their status and standard and the bags will be
trendy looks will make the coustmer stand out among crowd. They noticed by everyone. The
bags with the trackers and with stylish designs will satisfy the psychological need because
human being now likes to be noticed by the other persons in the crowd.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a U.S.-owned utility that provides users with
positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services. This system consists of three segments:
the space segment, the control segment, and the user segment. The U.S. Space Force develops,
maintains, and operates the space and control segments.

The GPS space segment consists of a constellation of satellites transmitting radio signals
to users.

The United States is committed to maintaining the availability of at least 24 operational


GPS satellites, 95% of the time.

Control Segment

The GPS control segment consists of a global network of ground facilities that track the
GPS satellites, monitor their transmissions, perform analyses, and send commands and
data to the constellation

USER SEGMENT

The user segment consists of the GPS receiver equipments,which receives the signals from gps
satellites and uses the information to calculate three dimensional position and time.

THE GPS TRACKING PROCESS
A GPS tracking device is installed into a piece of equipment, necessary information. It then
uses GPS satellites to pinpoint the location of the vehicle or trailer in real-time.

The data stored within the GPS tracking device is then transmitted through a cellular or
wireless network to a server. The server works like cloud storage that lets you access the
information regardless of your location and the device you use (smartphone, tablets, computer,
etc.).. GPS requires the use of many satellites orbiting the Earth. These satellites continually
broadcast their locations and status above us. This is continually monitored by the GPS Master
Control Station, as well as other tracking and monitoring stations here on the ground, to ensure
accuracy and proper function. The Master Control Station is also responsible for maintenance
and correction, should anything go wrong.

A GPS device on Earth receives these signals, interpreting each one’s unique data. By mapping
the locations of four or more satellites in relation to the tracking device, it can triangulate its
exact position in three-dimensional space. More satellites are often used to validate data and
provide a more accurate location reading.

What is a GPS tracker?

Definition

A GPS tracker receives location information from a satellite through a receiver. It then transmits
them through a transmitter. This information generally arrives on a smartphone on a dedicated
application, such as that of Beepings, thanks to a distant server.

A GPS tracker allows you to geolocate an object. This device determines its own positions
or coordinates using the satellites and then transmits them to the application. Geolocation is
a process for positioning an object, a vehicle, or a person on a map using its geographic
coordinates.

colours and fulfilled with the varities depending upon the choice of the customer they
purchase it.

There are different pockets or compartments ith the bags some are inside the bags while some are
on the outer side.

The tracker devices are also available in the market from big to small sizes having various ranges

We need to select the small size device having good range and insert it to an outer
compartment of the bag . the trackers are readily possess an application for tarcking the
location.

Trackers of different coverage ranges are present we need to have three kinds of tracker
devices with best , better and good covrage rangs so that we can bifurcate our product for
the upper class, middle class and lower class.

FEASIBILTY ANALYSIS

TECHNOLOGICAL – The technology required to develop these bagsd


are AI AND GPS with the knowledge of IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS) these technologies are
widely available .So by the technological point of view ,these bags are feasible enough.

ECONOMICAL – The trackers are available at various ranges starting from 24


dollar i.e 1800 indian rupees connectivity range of 150 ft , and goes dollar 39 which is
approximately 3000 connectivity range 250 ft and other dollar 99 which is approx 7400 connectivity
range 400 ft

develop it for the various income segment .So as per economical point of view these bags are feasible .

LABOUR AVAILABILTY – The human resource we need for the


development of bags can be divided into three kinds of human resources.

SKILLED K LABOUR - . We require skilled labours luike production managers,


marketing managers, sales managers and other professionals for the development of bags.In long run
we can establish our own I.T cell for which we will be required engineers, software developers. Our
nation have ample of skilled labours at a affordable packages so it is feasible.

SEMI –SKILLED LABOUR – The semi skilled labour like supervisors, tailors,
etc are required for the development of the bags and are available enough in our nation .

UNSKILLED LABOUR - Unskilled labour is also needed for development of the


product for loading and unloading

When no intermediaries between consumer and producer this is called direct marketing . however it is
tough to execute it but once executed will provide long term benefits.

In case of this product we can directly market our products in socials gathering of elite class or business
class like meetings, seminars cetc.

middle income groups .The team can visit official buildings for the demonstration of the product and

Retailer , are involved in the channel of distribution . In this case we can appoint or sell our

To avoid any kind of conflict the rate of commission should be fixed for ex- if company is
giving 10% margin then the commission percentage must be fixed i.e. 6% foe wholesaler KE
