as polypoidal tissue.
Received in formalin are multiple tissue fragments collectively measuring 5 x 3 x 2 mm. The entire
specimen is submitted in a single block.

SPECIMEN #2 (RECTUM, BIOPSY):

as rectum.
Received in formalin are five mucosal fragments collectively measuring 4 x 3 x 2 mm. The entire specimen
is submitted in a single block.

Micro: Colonic mucosal fragments show intact crypt architecture, epithelium show enlarged hyperchromatic
nuclei with nuclear spindling and stratification. No high grade dysplasia seen.
