Memory Verse 2:
WHO IS GOD?
T he Bible is God’s book for us. In the Bible, we learn who God
is and what He is like.
The Bible tells us that God is eternal. That means that He
was never born and He will never die. He has always been. That
is hard for people to understand because people are born and
people die.
But not God. No one has been here
forever but God. We believe He is
eternal because He says so in His
Word. This is called faith. Faith
is believing what God says
even when we can’t see it with
our own eyes. We believe
because we know God
never lies.
God’s Word also tells us

From Exodus 8-11
T he Israelites had been set free! God had delivered them. They
packed up their things and left Egypt. There were 600,000
men, plus all the women and children. Moses was the leader of
all these people. God showed them where to go. God led them
by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night.
When someone told Pharaoh the Israelites had left, Pharaoh
changed his mind and said,
“Why have we done this, that
