PROCEDURE
In electric circuits analysis, nodal analysis, node-voltage analysis, or the branch current method
is a method of determining the voltage (potential difference) between "nodes" (points where
elements or branches connect) in an electrical circuit in terms of the branch currents. Nodal
analysis produces a compact set of equations for the network, which can be solved by hand if
small, or can be quickly solved using linear algebra by computer. Because of the compact system
of equations, many circuit simulation programs (e.g MULTISIM) use nodal analysis as a basis.

TASK 1: Consider the following circuit.
Figure 5.1
In the above circuit, there are four nodes A,B,C and GND.
Practically connect this circuit on the breadboard and measure all three node voltages Va,Vb and
Vc with respect to gnd.
Now theoretically calculate node voltages using nodal analysis, use accurate values of all
resistors (measure them from DMM) in analysis. Show your calculations below.

Figure 5.2
In the above circuit, there are also four nodes A, B, C and GND. But here you shall notice
voltage source between A and B. So you shall use Super Node Technique to solve this circuit.
Practically connect this circuit on the breadboard and measure all three node voltages Va,Vb and
Vc with respect to gnd.
Now theoretically calculate node voltages using nodal analysis, use accurate values of all
resistors (measure them from DMM) in analysis. Show your calculations below.
