Job Description:-
The supply chain manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations of the
company making sure that the supply of goods, services and information to each part of the
organisation is optimised to meet the needs of customers, control cost and ensure sustainability. The
role is responsible for procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and
distribution.
Job Specification :-
Required Knowledge:-
1. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain principles, along with
inventory management and procurement and logistic management and distribution,
along with this the person responsible should have knowledge of demand
forecasting, production planning and transportation optimisation, and he should
possess familiarity with lean, six sigma or other process improvement
methodologies.
2. This role requires knowledge of information systems like the ERP System, and
software like JDA, Manhatten and Kinaxis and possess knowledge of data analysis
tools like Excel, tableau, and Power BI.
3. The person should have knowledge of industry compliances and regulations,
Sustainability practices within the supply chain

Authority and Span of control:-
Authority:-
The supply chain manager holds the authority to make decisions regarding inventory
management, procurement, and logistic strategy. They are responsible for selecting the
supplier, approving and procurement contracts and optimising distribution strategies.
They have authority over the supply chain budget ensuring that the cost is kept within
the company targets while maximizing operational efficiency. They also have the
authority to change processes if and when required to increase optimisation and to
achieve organisational goals.

Work environment:-
This role requires office work and site visits to warehouses, manufacturing facilities and
