Software Engineer - Asia – Gurugram
Who You’ll Work With:
You’ll join us in our Gurgaon office as part of our McKinsey Tech function. You will join the Software team within
the T&D function that is distributed across New York, Waltham, Prague, Gurugram, Bengaluru.
As a Software Engineer will work with product managers, other software engineers, architects and various
platform teams.

Our development teams are flexible and employ agile methodologies to quickly provide our consultants with
the solutions they need. We combine the latest open source technologies together with traditional Enterprise
software products.

What You'll Do:

As a Software Engineer, you will work with product teams collaboratively and iteratively through design and
development to deliver products that meet business goals. You will provide thought leadership to the senior
leadership for the direction of the overall product portfolio and how to manage and evolve our architectures.
You can bring fresh ideas to solve problems with emerging frameworks and architecture from all areas
including distributed computing, large-scale system design etc.

Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent subject
• 0 to 2 yrs of experience working with front end & back end technologies
• Front end development framework like ReactJs, Angular etc; CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation
HTML5
• Understanding SaaS based ERP Solutions (SAP) and exposure to Integration On-prem or Cloud Solutions
• Demonstrated technical capability and hands on experience in Java/Ruby/.NET, related libraries and
frameworks.
• Demonstrated technical capability in at least one of the following backend stacks: Spring Framework,
Hibernate, Maven, Ant, etc. Rails,
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Knowledge including on premise /cloud, SSO, SQL, No-SQL technologies
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
