Board Floor Indicator LCD GR V1.

00
This board is a Graphic LCD screen for specific use as elevator’s floor
indicator. The resolution is 128 pixels Width and 64 pixels Height. On the screen
appears the floor number or some special symbols like arrows and others if they have
programmed and connected correctly. The programming is done by our company
according to your order.
The figure 1 shows the connection way. In the supply input PWR – COM you
can connect the power line from 12V DC to 24V DC. On the signal inputs 0 to 8, H , -
1 connected the floors signals, on the arrow connected the direction arrow signals, on
the special inputs signals OVERLOAD, DOOR OPEN, FAN, SERVICE connected
the elevator special condition signals if you want to appear the correspondence image.
All the signals must have the same common that connected on the input COM
and may de + or -. The opposite of the common connected on the input PWR.
The contrast of the LCD can be adjusted by the trimmer CONTRAST.
The board is working and as safety light if connected an extra power with the
same common on input BAT.

OPERATION
WITH CABIN STATE ON THE FLOOR
Print the floor number or floor icon. If it has been programmed it prints and a logo
image alternatively. The logo image can be static or moving and take place all the
screen area. When it showing the floor number if it has programmed, it can print the
floor number in the half of the screen and a special floor icon in the other half,
different for each floor. Or if it has been programmed it can print some information
like Temperature, Date, Time in the second half of the screen. If supply someone
special elevator signal it will print this special elevator condition icon on the second
half of screen also. The special elevator condition OVERLOAD and DOOR OPEN
makes and sound effects.

WITH CABIN IN MOVING


It prints the floor number or the floor icon in the half of the screen and in the other
half it prints the direction arrow.

CONFIGURATION MENU
Using the keys S1 and S2 we can chose the appearance way, the inputs signals
decoding way, or to adjust the time and the date of the clock calendar.
To come in the menu press the key S2 continually until the first screen “CONFIG
MENU 1” is appeared. After this point every time S2 is pressing change the line
which marked by the symbol ‘>’ at the beginning of the line. Every time S1 is
pressing change the value of the line. (Each line include one parameter.) After the last
line change the screen to the next. To exit from menu saving every change you have
done press continually the key S2. To exit from menu without saving any change,
disconnect the power from the board.

CONFIG MENU 1
LANGUAGE
It can choose the language of the configuration menu and the calendar clock. It can be
ENGLISH or GREEK up to now.

CODE SYSTEM
It can choose the decoding way of inputs signals. It can be BINARY (BCD) or
DECIMAL (one signal per floor).

START FLOOR
In some decoding ways as BINARY (BCD) it set the most down (smaller) floor
number. It can take values of -5 to 5.

MIDDL.FLOOR
In some decoding ways as BINARY (BCD) it set the middle floor position. It
indicates the first floor number after the middle floor. If it is 0 then there isn’t middle
floor. It can be in range 0 to 5.

PLACEMENT
It notifies the orientation of board placement. It can be VERTICAL or
HORIZONTAL.
CONFIG MENU 2
FLOORNUMBER
It notifies the right or left half of the screen in which the floor numbers will be
appeared. In the other half of the screen will be appeared the arrows or the special
symbols or the information. It can be RIGHT or LEFT in HORIZONTAL placement
or UP or DOWN in VERTICAL placement.

TEMP.METER
It notifies if the temperature meter operate or not. It can be ENABLE or DISABLE.

CLOCK
It notifies if the clock operate or not. It can be ENABLE or DISABLE.

DAY NAME
It notifies the name of current day. It can be MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY,
THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY.

TIME
It adjusts the clock calendar current date and time in the following format: dd/mm/yy
hh:mm.

CONFIG MENU 3
FLOOR LOGO
It notifies if print a special icon differently for each floor beside the floor number
when the cabin has been stopped. It can be ENABLE or DISABLE.

LOGO TIME
It adjusts the time of appear the main logo that seize all of the screen area. At the rest
of the time it prints the floor number or the information screen, when the cabin is
stopped. It can be adjust from 00 to 59 seconds. When it has the value 00 the main
logo is disappeared.

FLOOR TIME
It adjusts the time of appearance of the floor number when the cabin is stopped and
the main logo is enabled. It can be adjust from 00 to 59 seconds. When it has the
value 00 the floor number is disappeared.

INFO TIME
It adjusts the time of appearance of the information screen when the cabin is stopped.
This screen includes the temperature measurement, the date, the time and floor
number. It can be adjust from 00 to 59 seconds. When it has the value 00 the
information screen is disappeared.

FLOOR PRINT
It notifies the source of icons that using to print the floor numbers. It can be
NUMBERS that means it will use the icons that included by default or F.LOGOS that
means it will use special icons that will must be inserted by the user.
CONFIG MENU 4
LOGO FRAMES
It notifies the number of icons that make a moving logo. It can be from 00 to 10.
When it is 00 the logo is stable. When it is 02 to 10 mean that the logo play these
icons.

FRAME TIME
It adjust the time of appearance of each icon of a moving logo. It can be from 01 to 59
seconds.
