1. Assalamu Alaikum and good afternoon, everyone.

I am Dr. Farzana Zinia, currently serving as a diabetes educator in the Department


of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
2. It is my absolute pleasure to extend a warm welcome to everyone attending
today’s seminar on Tirzepatide: The First Twincretin to Combat the Twin Pandemic
of Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity.
We’re thrilled to see your enthusiasm, and we hope this session will provide
valuable insights to deepen our understanding of this innovative approach.
3. Today, we are honored by the presence of:
 Dr. Kazi Ali Hassan, Senior Consultant in the Department of Diabetes and
Endocrinology, who serves as Chairperson for today’s seminar.
 We are also joined by an esteemed panel of experts:
o Dr. Prashanto Prashun Dey, Senior Consultant, Diabetes and
Endocrinology
o Dr. Afsana Begum, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine
4. Now, it is my honor to invite Professor Dr. Taimur Newaz, Senior Consultant in
Internal Medicine and Chairperson of the Education and Research Ethics
Committee, to deliver the welcome address.
Thank you, sir, for your inspiring words and valuable contribution.
5. I am pleased to now invite our guest speaker, Professor Dr. Mohammad
Hafizur Rahman, Senior Consultant, Diabetes and Endocrinology, to present on
today’s topic.
Thank you, sir, for your insights, which have made a significant impact on us all.
6. Following this, I will deliver a brief presentation on the Role of Diabetes
Education in Disease Management.
7. We also have a short presentation from our scientific partner, AristoPharma.
I invite Mr. Faisal Azom, Senior Group Product Manager at AristoPharma Ltd., to
present.
8. Now, I’d like to invite our honorable speakers, panel of experts, and Professor
Dr. Taimur Newaz to the stage, along with our audience, for a Q&A session
moderated by our expert panel.
Please raise your hands if you have questions.
Due to illness, Dr. Kazi Ali Hassan is unable to join us, and we wish him a swift
recovery. In his absence, Dr. Prashanto Prashun Dey will serve as acting
chairperson today.
We will also hold a prize-giving ceremony for the top five Q&A participants.
9. I now request Mr. Mahmudul Kabir, Senior Sales Manager at AristoPharma
Ltd., to present awards to our participants, and Dr. Md. Salahuddin, General
Manager of AristoPharma Ltd., to present tokens of appreciation to our
chairperson, panelists, and speaker.
Prof. Dr. Hafizur Rahman will receive the award on behalf of our chairperson.

11. To officially conclude, I welcome Dr. Md. Salahuddin, General Manager of
