Introduction
The maintenance process is started by creating a notification in SAP. This is a request for
maintenance work. Once the notification has been approved a work order can be created and
resourced.

There are several ways of creating a work order:-

 Directly from a notification (breakdown work)
 From a single approved notification (IW22)
 From a worklist of notifications (IW28).

It is important to identify all labour, materials and services required to complete the work order.
To resource the work order an existing task list can be selected. If there are no suitable task lists then
the work order can be resourced manually.

Supplementary materials:

 Resourcing Labour
 Resourcing Materials
 Document Management
