Good day!
This is to formally coordinate with your good office concerning the Temporary Road Closure
along the Pangasinan-Nueva Vizcaya Road, in the Municipality of San Nicolas, Pangasinan, in
connection with the upcoming Diocesan Cristo Rey 2024 celebration, which will be held from
November 13, 2024 to November 27, 2024..
As per the Municipal Ordinance No. 177 s. 2024, “Authorizing the Temporary Road Closure of
the Portion of Pangasinan-Nueva Vizcaya Road Starting from November 13, 2024 to November
27, 2024, In Observance and Celebration of Diocesan Cristo Rey 2024 in the Municipality of
San Nicolas, Pangasinan”, enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of San Nicolas, the following
measures have been adopted to ensure the safety, convenience, and orderly flow of visitors,
devotees, and the general public during the event:
A portion of Pangasinan-Nueva Vizcaya Road, from the Poblacion East Welcome Arch (in
front of the Catholic Church) to Barangay Nagkaysa (beside Red Arrow High School), will
be temporarily closed during the following periods:
November 13, 2024 to 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
November 15, 2024
November 16, 2024 8:00 AM to 12:00 MN
November 17, 2024 to 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
November 19, 2024
November 20, 2024 to 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM
November 27, 2024 (for a full 24-hour period,
starting at midnight and
ending at midnight the
next day)
The Municipal Government of San Nicolas will coordinate closely with the local police and other
concerned agencies to manage the flow of traffic, ensure the safety of all attendees, and
maintain orderliness in the surrounding areas during the event.
We kindly request your assistance in facilitating the necessary approvals for this road closure
and rerouting, as well as the coordination of any necessary road signage, barricades, and other
traffic management measures to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the event.
We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your continued support in making the
Diocesan Cristo Rey 2024 celebration a successful and safe event for all involved.
