• IPL Database Management
o This project consists of two large datasets: the deliveries table and the matches table.
o The deliveries table, which contains ball-by-ball information from IPL 2008 to 2020, has 1,92,468 rows.
o The 816 rows in the Matches table contain match-to-match information and the outcomes of matches that were
played between IPL 2008 and 2020.
o Analyzed the ball-by-ball data for every IPL cricket match played between 2008 and 2020 using variou s SQL
functions.
• Olympics Dataset Project
o Created an Olympic management database to handle olympics_history and olympics_history_noc_regions tables.
o Determined which country won the most gold, silver, bronze, and medals in each Olympic Games using inner
join, substring with nvl, and coalesce functions.
o Discovered that using ORDER BY clauses within subqueries or CTEs should be avoided.
o In this project, used various SQL commands & functions like: DDL, DML, Joins, Subqueries, Multiple joins, Case
statements, Logical conditions, Nested subqueries, and analytical functions.
• Employee Management System
o Maintains information about employees in an organization.
o Built a database using the ER Diagram, Primary key, and foreign key.
o Created Regions, Countries, Locations, Departments, Jobs, Employees, and Job_history tables and Inserted records into
the tables listed above.
o Developed a procedure to restrict editing of employees to regular business hours.
o Performed some operations on this database.
o Learned about the on delete cascade and on delete set null cascading functions.
