15. A vertical tower of height 20m stands on a horizontal plane and is surmounted by a

bottom and top of the flag staff are 45⁰ and 60⁰ respectively. Find the value of h.
16. A ladder makes an angle of 600 with the ground when placed against a wall. If the foot of

elevation of the top of a building from the foot of the tower is 30° and the angle of

top of the building which is 7 m high, the angle of elevation of the cable tower is 60° and

50. There are two vertical towers on a level ground which are300 m apart. A soldier in an
helicopter above the ground observes the top of the towers and he found the angles of
depression to be 60° and 30° as shown in the figure. If the height of the taller tower is 500 m
and the distance between the foot of the shorter tower and the foot of the altitude from the
helicopter to the ground is 100√3 m, then find the height of the shorter tower.
