Personal statement
An organised, responsible person who can mix well with people of all ages and
backgrounds in a professional and friendly manner. During Secondary School I
attended the training as an air cadet in the Royal Air Forces at 308 Colchester
Squadron and this gave me the opportunity to engage in different activities and to
develop my skills. During the 1 year as an cadet I attended leadership courses,
first aid training and multiple camps and this helped me become a well mannered and
self disciplined person. Able to develop new skills quickly if required and willing
to train to achieve a standard necessary to obtain the goals expected, I am a
reliable, trustworthy, and hard-working person. Flexible enough to work as part of
a team or on one’s own when required. Quick to accept most challenges and handle
situations in a positive way. Able to stay calm and work well under pressure, very
committed to any given task. In general, a very cheerful approach to life provides
a warm welcome with a lasting impression.
I am seeking a position where I can develop and increase my knowledge, as well as
excel while giving my best to an employer.
I’m a student in Colchester Institute studying ESOL Stepping Up and I have 3 days a
week- Monday to Wednesday when I’m attending. Basically half of my week I have free
time witch I would like to have another activity with will create me a lot of
opportunities and bonds with new people.
