BUY THE TRUTH AND SELL IT NOT

Proverbs 23:23 / Matthew 27:26

3 continuous years spent to education

8 continuous years spent in amusement
6 continuous years would have been spent in eating
11 continuous years spent in working
24 continuous years would have been spent in sleeping
5 and half continuous years would have been spent in washing, dressing and manicuring his body
6 continuous years in walking, from one place to another
3 continuous years in reading
BUT ONLY 6 continuous months would have been spent in a lifetime worshiping God.

The Bible says Buy the Truth and never ever sell it.

What does it mean?

We have 3 important words here:

. Truth
. Buy
. Sell

A. TRUTH
From this Book, the BIBLE.
In Greek word pronounced as ''Byblos'' meaning ''BOOK''

These statements are made: THE BIBLE CONTAINS

-The mind of God
-The state of man
-The way of sinners and happiness of the believers
-Its doctrines are holy
-Its precepts are binding
-Its histories are true
-Its decisions are immutable
-Read it to be wise
-Believe it to be saved
-Practice it to be holy
-It contains a light to direct you
-Food to support you
-Comfort to cheer you
-This is the travelers map
-The pilgrims staff
-The Pilot's compass
-The soldier's sword
-The Christians character
-Here in the bible, Paradise is restored
-The heaven open
-The gate of hell disclose
-Jesus Christ is its grand subject, our good, the design and the glory ascend
-It should fill the memory
-Rule the hearts
-Guide the feet
-Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully
-It is a mind of well
-A paradise of glory
-The river of pleasure
-It is given to you in life
-It will be opened at the judgement
-Be remembered forever
-This book involves the highest responsibility
-This book says will reward the greatest labor
-And condemn all who trifle with its contents

It was Napoleon Bonaparte who said ''The Bible is known their book but a living creature with power that conquers all had opposed it.''

What is truth?

The dictionary says TRUTH is a state of being true or it is in accordance with fact.

A roman procurator, a represntation of deity because they believe that Roman Ceasars were God himself.
Pontius Pilate -a roman intellectual stood between the ancients and us and only recorded man's desperate search for truth.
When he stood before a man called JESUS and said, tell me what is TRUTH.

Is truth Zeus, Athena, the Pharaohs of Egypt represented man's desperate search for a higher power something that could help them in their human frailty?
Plato, Socrates, and other philosophers wrote and left their understanding of truth.
Colleges and university here in abroad teach philosophies of these men trying to find out about that incredible commodity called TRUTH.

Truth is not a subjective

Truth is not something you can just go find in a philosophy book
Truth is not somebody's opinion
Truth is not somebody's speculation
Truth is not somebody's conjecture or the way your wish it were
or the way you think it is.

TRUTH IS A PERSON AND HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST.

*The truth of the matter is, not that God is hard to find but rather that man is afraid of being found.
*We want to be saved but not from ourselves and not from our sins.
*We want to be saved but not too great a cost.
*We want to be saved in our way and not his.
But JESUS said in John 1:14 it is said of him that He was full of grace and truth.

John 8:32 says, Jesus speaking ''you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.''

John 14:6 says, Jesus speaking: I am the way, the truth, and the life.

JESUS IS THE TRUTH and how can one find him?

Jesus said, he shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Free of what?

-Free of every other ideology

-Free of every other dogma
-Free from every other doctrine
-Fre of any other Philosophy and religion

When Jesus stood and said ''I am the way, the truth and the life'' he eclipsed to every philosopher, he did away with every doctrine, every Pharisee collide.

Baptist, Mormons, JW, Hinduism, Islam, any other religion and denominations in the whole wide world, etc...
I am not against these Religion and faith, but they teach so many things different from the Word of God.
There are fabulous people in this wolrd they live repented lives and they are free in what they know and what they believe until I walk up to them or YOU WALK UP to them.
Have you ever been baptized in Jesus' name?

And their freedom is gone and the struggle begins. Either they're right or we're right and the battle begins. Then you can intensify by asking: have you ever spoke with tongues
when the Holy Ghost came and their freedom is lost and they begin a struggle.

*But you cannot get anybody saved up until you first get them lost. When they're lost they're stopping around and you can reach in and pull them out and take them to the face of
JESUS.

spirit - religion / way to God / devotion (small letter)
Truth - Jesus

Other denominations: examples

JW:
spirit - (small letter) they study the Word of God at least 4 hours a day
Truth - There is no Jesus in them (small god)

Islam:
spirit - outward holiness
Truth - no Jesus

Verse 24 - ''must'' means essential requirement.

Verse 28 - she ironically left behind he waterpot. (means own opinion of truth / religious dogma)
Jesus is the living springs of water flowing within.

Psalm 16:11 - In truth there ARE pleasure FOREVERMORE, in truth there is joy, not only joy but FULLNES OF JOY... Jesus showed the path of life to that Samaritan woman.

''him'' - verse 24

In KJV Bible, italicized are words that added by the translators to emphasize words that has no exact term in aramaic and hebrew (original manuscript), and help the readers
better understand the intent of the passage translated from the original languages.

*him - there is no translation because in their times it is known that there is only ONE MESSIAH.
that ''him'' is pertaining to Jesus himself. ISAIAH 45:5-6

1 Timothy 3:16
Who is this TRUTH, He Himself has come down to walk among us earthlings? The master of the universe, the creator of everything..

The Messiah revealed himself to the Samaritan woman. That one messiah became a living flesh and dwelt among us.
Why? Because of God's mercy.
Psalm 85:10

We are persuaded because the Truth found us.

The woman in the well went immediately in the city to proclaim Jesus.

B. BUY

Truth has a cost. It is never for free. It must be purchased.

''To buy'' - (verb) means to acquire possession, ownership, or rights to the use or services of by payment.
''To buy'' - (verb) means to obtain in exchange for something often at a sacrifice.

*TRUTH IS AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS IT, to anyone who is genuinely hungry for truth.
*Jesus is readily available to those who want to meet Him. HE WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU.
*Buying means the process of personal conversion, which is biblical revelation of ONENESS OF GOD.
*Truth can only be purchased at the cost of ''SELF''

Pontius Pilate is not willing to buy the truth even he was standing in front of the truth.
It may cost him the position he has and he was not willing to give it up.

*We can be in the church but we still have no revelation of truth.

*The sign that we found the truth is when we can already explain the oneness of God BIBLICALLY.
*If we cannot explain it biblically we are just relying to our Pastor's revelation, or someone's revelation.

(Suggestion: Study the names of GOD)

THE ARE WAYS TO FIND THE TRUTH but the wise man Solomon said that when we found it, we must BUY IT.

Take up the cross and follow me...

The reason why others have truth and others do not:

Because some people are willing to put themselves up as the price. Their life, their past, their perspective, their tradition, the way they are race.

Being with the Truth is a daily decision... - the devil will gladly offer us deals and make special offers for the rest of our lives.
Matthew 22:36-40

That is the cost of the truth, the question is ARE YOU WILLING?

*You can't buy it with half of your heart and 3/4 of your soul and quarter of your spirit and half of your strength.

*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL your HEART
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL your SOUL
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL with your MIND
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL with your STRENGTH

There are a lot of people that have held on this truth but they don't own it. They've not taken ownership of it.

It's like the guy that goes in a party and rents Lamborghini, everybody sees him driving and people says ''wow'' but he does not own it.

*The only way you can buy TRUTH is if you lay ALL of you down upon the altar and give everything to JESUS.

*Luke 7, univited woman (prostitute) broke her Alabaster box (approx. costs her 3 months salary)

*Casting ALL your cares upon Him.

Sometimes we still have room in our flesh for this stuff.

We still have the appetite with this specific sin.
I am not yet ready to surrender this.

YOU ARE NOT BUYING THE TRUTH!!!

We have to buy it by heart, by soul, by our BODY.

Holiness and modesty is worth the cost.

Jesus' doctrine is worth the cost.
Righteousness is worth the cost.

*Romans 12:1 - present your bodies a living sacrifice.

BODY - let us keep it holy.

2 Process of salvation:
Justification - done by Jesus Christ because we are not qualified to do that.
Sanctification - it is pursuit, a daily conviction. This is our daily fight, the effort is from us.

Holiness is truth, holiness is separation from the world. Therefore Truth is a separation.
We are yet in the world but we are not belong in this world.
There is a place called heaven and earth.

Without holiness no one can see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14)

You must be holy for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:15-16)

Don't tell me that it doesn't matter where you go, how you act, or how you dress.

ONCE YOU BOUGHT IT, DO NOT EVER EVER EVER SELL IT.

C. SELL

''To sell'' means to give up in return for something else. (verb)

''To sell'' means to give into the power of another. (verb)

THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WORTHY of this TRUTH!!!

*EVERYTHING IN COMPARISON TO THIS TRUTH IS CHEAP!!!

That's why when the devil took Jesus out and showed him all the kingdoms of this world and said I will give you all of them, whatever you want.

He was not just pertaining to French Empire, Ottoman Empire, Persian Empire etc.

He was talking about EVERY KINGDOM OF THE WORLD:

ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS, MONEY, POPULARITY, JOB, FAME, etc.
Everything that the enemy can offer just to distract you in your way to God.
All the stuff that sound really good! I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU!

*Jesus said IT IS WRITTEN: what He did, He quote to him....

*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL your HEART
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL your SOUL
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL with your MIND
*Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL with your STRENGTH
I don't have anything left because everything I have I gave to the TRUTH.
You cannot afford any offer in this world because you surrender ALL to Jesus..

REPUTATION - the bible said He made himself of no reputation.

*No offences can keep us away from God.

*That is why it is important that we have a genuine experience with JESUS.

Once you experienced Jesus, this is something that you cannot sell.

*The 3 wise men, they changed their way when they met baby Jesus in a manger.
*Do not go back to your old ways. Sell it not!!

How do we sell the truth?

-If we compromise. A little compromise can ruin our service to God.

THE TRUTH WILL REMAIN TRUTH EVEN YOU STAND ALONE FOR IT.

Approximately 189,805 People die everyday

5,825 people die every hour
97 people die every minute

According to research:
There are at least 25 Million oneness believers worldwide.

There is only 0.0005 percent chance that one of them was saved.

How little chance has the human being can have to know the TRUTH.

That's why WHEN YOU ALREADY BOUGHT IT, DO NOT EVER SELL IT.

When you already met JESUS, do not ever exchange Him for something.

Jesus is more than heaven, more than anything in this world.

BUY THE TRUTH AND SELL IT NOT!!!!
