III. LEARNING PROCEDURE
Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity
A. Preliminary Activity
• Prayer
• Greetings
• Checking of Attendance
B. MOTIVATION
Before we start I have here a video presentation, I
want you to observe it carefully because afterwards
I will ask some questions.
https://youtu.be/Aa3Kjs-AYug?
si=5sgiGxX72Kteq0kR
What did you observe in the video?
“Electric fan, Sir”
“parts of electric fan sir”
Very good! It is a electric fan and its parts , can you
give me some parts of electric fan?
(answer may vary)
Very good!
C. DISCUSSION
Our topic for today is all about Parts and
Maintenance of Electric Fan
So electric fan has 12 parts
PARTS OF ELECTRIC FAN
Guide Mark - where the brand or name of the fan
is placed
Front Guard - front barrier to prevent obstruction
to the blade's rotation
Blade Cap - secures the blade in place
Fan Blade - rotates and generates airflow
Rear Guard Nut - tightens the rear guard
Rear Guard - back barrier to prevent obstruction to
the blade's rotation
Motor Shaft - where the fan blade is attached,
connected to the AC motor
Rear Motor Cover - back cover protecting the AC
motor
Oscillation Knob - controls the side-to-side
movement of the electric fan
Base - serves as the electric fan's support or "feet"
Speed Regulator or Switch - controls the speed of
the motor
Front Motor Cover - front cover protecting the
motor
I have here another video of how to maintain the
cleanliness

ElsX4oZMkS8DwcZ “so it does’nt get dirty,sir”
Why do you think we need to maintain the
cleanliness of our fans? (answer may vary)
How do you clean your electric fans?
I have here another video of how to maintain the
cleanliness
https://youtu.be/XsKISkSWIrI?si=- (answer may vary)
ElsX4oZMkS8DwcZ
So what did you observe in the video?
“soap and oil sir”
the guy in the video is removing first all the parts
and cleaning it with what?
Okay very good!
Here’s how to maintain the cleanliness of the
electric fan
Now let’s have an activity. I have here a ball, and
what you need to do is pass it to the person next to
you while the music is playing. When you hear the
music stop, you must also stop passing the ball. The
person holding the ball will answer my question. Is “Blade Cap”
that clear class?
“Motor Shaft”
Guide Questions;
1. What part of the electric fan secures the blade in
place? “Speed Regulator/Switch”
2. It is where the fan blade is attached, connected to “Base”
the AC motor.
“Fan Blade”
3. It controls the speed of the motor.
4. It serves as the electric fan's support or "feet".
5.it rotates and generates airflow.
Very Good Class!
(answer may vary)
D. GENERALIZATION
If you really understand our discussion
what are the parts of the electric fan and their uses?
So what are we going to do to maintain the
cleanliness of our electric fan?
Okay goodjob!
E. APPLICATION
Now, let's have a group activity called “WHAT
AM I?”. I will divide you into 5 groups. Each
group will be given an illustration, and you will
write your answers on the black part of the
illustration board.
Direction: Write the name of the part of the electric
fan. Each picture. Each picture will be shown for 10
seconds. Once the time is up, you may raise your
answers.
Answer: SPEED REGULATOR/SWITCH
Answer: BASE
Answer: RARE MOTOR COVER
Answer: OSCILLATION KNOB
Answer: MOTOR SHAFT
Okay very good class! This is just proof of how
well you understood today’s lesson.
