QUICK START PART I
MIKKO2 comes with a bunch of Factory Presets to help you get up and running fast, but the real magic happens
when you start creating your own unique blends. Since it can be daunting at first, here are some easy-to-follow
methods to get you started with making your own blends.

MIKKO2 USER MANUAL
QUICK START PART II
Every Mic Has A Destiny
For this method, you’ll first need to define what
attributes you’d like to have represented in your
guitar tone, then you’ll assign a microphone to each
of them and use the mix sliders until your blend is
just the way you want it to be. This is similar to the
57+121 method, though it can be a lot more versatile.
For example, you could decide on the following
attributes; powerful, thick, and articulate. Find a
mic-up that represents a powerful sound, one that
represents a thick sound, and one that represents

now to make the microphone sound as bad as
possible - mainly using the Latency knob, but also
moving the mics around a little too. You’re aiming
for subby lows, honky mids, and harsh highs. Once
you’ve achieved this goal, hit the Phase Reverse
button again. You should find that your IR sounds
perfectly well-balanced, with controlled low end,
tight midrange, and smooth high-end rolloff.
