Admission Policy
1. Program:-
Every degree program has specific admission requirements, which are termed as “Requirements” (as
mentioned below). These requirements are mandatory to apply for admission in the specific program. The
percentage marks or divisions mentioned in the requirements indicate the aggregate marks only. In addition
to the requirements, the prospective candidates are also required to appear in an entrance test which in
combination with the marks obtained in earlier degrees forms the admission merit. To be admitted in a
degree program the prospective candidate has to secure a place in the respective merit.
Candidates who have passed A, O levels or other such international examinations/certificates instead of
intermediate, shall have to produce an equivalence certificate from the relevant authorities. Please note that
Pre-requisite certificates and degrees mentioned below (such as FSc, Intermediate, or BSc, etc.) may be
substituted by their equivalent examinations or degrees.
Unless mentioned specifically in the degree program, the following criteria will be used to compute the
admission merit:
Post-graduate: Entrance Test: 40%, BSc: 35%, Intermediate, 15% , Matric 10%
Under-graduate: Entrance Test: 40%, Intermediate: 50%, Matric: 10%

(d) Courses can be transferred, subject to the acceptance of the Admission Committee and the
minimum acceptable GPA/CGPA.
(e) Student will have to fulfill the minimum residency requirements of the degree program in

duration. However, the academic council may reduce the residency requirements up to 25%
of the total degree program duration.
(f) The admission committee can allow transfer of courses subject to a maximum of 50% of the
credit requirements laid down in the degree regulations. However, the academic council may

indicating transfer of credits.
