1. Introduc on

Purpose of the Project:

Welcome to our Basketball League Database Management System project! The primary aim
of this project is to create a comprehensive sports team management system that empowers
users to effortlessly manage every aspect of their basketball teams, including teams, players,
coaches, stadiums, matches, and standings.

Scope of the Project:

Our project encompasses the development of the following exci ng features:

Team Management: Being able to create, edit, and even delete basketball teams with just a
few clicks.

Player Management: Stay in control by crea ng, modifying, or removing players from your
roster whenever necessary.

Coach Management: Manage your coaching team by adding, upda ng, or removing coaches
as you see fit.

Stadium Management: Take command of the game by managing stadiums; add new ones,
update their details, or re re the old ones.
Match Management: Crea ng, modifying, or canceling matches. All the crucial details will be
at your finger ps.

Standings Management: Stay ahead of the game with up-to-date standings reports that
provide insight into team rankings.

Project Overview:

Our innova ve sports team management system will be a user-friendly web applica on
designed to accommodate the unique needs of basketball teams. It is scalable, ensuring it
can efficiently handle a large number of teams and users.

The project will boast an array of func onali es, including:

Team Management: Users can easily create, edit, or remove teams. Get a bird's eye view of
all the teams and their specific details.

Player Management: Manage your players effortlessly. Create, edit, or let go of players as
your team evolves. Dive deep into player sta s cs.

Coach Management: Ensure your team is in capable hands. Create, update, or remove
coaches, and have access to their details.

Stadium Management: Take charge of your home ground. Add new stadiums, update their
informa on, or re re the old ones.
Match Management: Control the pulse of your team's performance. Create, modify, or
cancel matches with ease. Access match details in a snap.

Standings Management: Standings reports.

name, stadium, and salary cap.

and a detailed roster of all players.
