TIPS

Here's a basic structure you can follow:

Hook: Begin your introductory paragraph with a hook to grab the reader's attention. This could be a startling fact,
a compelling statistic, a relevant quote, or a thought-provoking question related to your essay topic.
Background Information: Provide a brief background or context about the topic you will be discussing. This helps
orientate the reader and gives them necessary information to understand the rest of your essay.
Thesis Statement: End your introductory paragraph with a clear and concise thesis statement. This statement
should outline the main argument or point of your essay. It provides a roadmap for what the reader can expect in
the body paragraphs.
Here's an example of an introductory paragraph for an essay topic about climate change:

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing humanity in the 21st century. With rising global temperatures,
melting ice caps, and increasingly extreme weather events, the urgency to address this phenomenon has never been
greater. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), human activities, particularly the burning
of fossil fuels, are the primary drivers of climate change. In this essay, I will explore the causes of climate change, its
impacts on the environment and society, and the actions that can be taken to mitigate its effects.
Here are some tips to help you write an effective conclusion:

Restate your thesis statement: Begin your conclusion by restating your thesis statement in different words. This helps remind the
reader of the main argument you presented in your essay.
Summarize your main points: Briefly summarize the key points you discussed in your essay. You can do this by highlighting the main
arguments or ideas you presented in each body paragraph.
Provide a synthesis: Tie together the main points you discussed throughout your essay and show how they support your thesis
statement. Explain the significance of your arguments and how they contribute to the overall understanding of the topic.
Offer a concluding thought: End your conclusion with a thought-provoking statement, a call to action, or a suggestion for further
research. This leaves the reader with something to think about after they have finished reading your essay.
Keep it concise: Your conclusion should be concise and to the point. Avoid introducing new information or arguments in the conclusion,
as this can confuse the reader and weaken your overall argument.
