Dear Sir/Madam,

I am excited to apply for the 2025 EMEA London Engineering Seasonal/Off-


Cycle Internship. As a penultimate-year M.Eng Computing student
specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Imperial
College London, I am eager to contribute my technical expertise and
passion for innovation to your engineering team.

During my internships at Autodesk and Angel Broking, I gained hands-on


experience in software development using languages such as Python, C+
+, Java, and GoLang. At Autodesk, I developed an algorithm in C++ that
partitioned model surfaces into distinct machining regions, reducing
toolpath calculation time by 60% through multithreading and concurrency
techniques. This experience enhanced my understanding of object-
oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and real-time programming.

At Angel Broking, I created a task management tool using Java and


GoLang, which reduced manual task processing by 40%. I also improved
the test suite using JUnit and Testify, identifying critical edge cases in
business operations. These projects required collaboration with cross-
functional teams and honed my problem-solving skills.

I am particularly drawn to Goldman Sachs because of your commitment to


leveraging technology to drive innovation in the financial industry. The
opportunity to work on massively scalable software and systems, architect
low-latency infrastructure solutions, and leverage machine learning to turn
data into action aligns perfectly with my interests and skill set.

My academic projects, such as developing an operating system capable of


running on a bare-metal 80x86 computer and researching methods for
fine-tuning multi-modal Large Language Models, have equipped me with a
strong foundation in systems engineering and machine learning.
