At SPM India Ltd., Bengaluru as Design
Engineer Title: Primary Vertical Damper
Synopsis:
The project dealt with developing a hydraulic damper that acted as primary Suspension in Railway LHB
Bogie with the specific requirements provided by RDSO.
Designed & modelled the parts required for creating the Hydraulic Damper in SolidWorks Software
Assembled the parts to get the required load ratings within the dimensional limits provided by RDSO
Also, developed the drawings required for the manufacturing of the Hydraulic Damper
Title: Wheel-Chair Assembly Line
Synopsis: The project aimed at designing & modelling a complete conceptual assembly line with parts
input consideration by creating Sub-Assembly and Main-Assembly line for Wheel-Chairs in
SolidWorks Software A Slat Conveyor with Pneumatic Drive System was Designed to get the
assembly flow to reach the Top-Time.
Title: Breakaway Torque Check Machine
Synopsis: The project was based on designing a machine for the purpose of reading the torque at
which a nut will start getting unscrewed from the bolt was noted. A SolidWorks Design was
created where 6 Axis-Manipulator with Nut-Runner was placed to drive the nuts into bolts.
Servo Motor with VFD and Breakaway Torque Recorder is attached to read the brake away
torque.
Title: Peripherals
Synopsis: The objective was to create an aluminium indo-bond sheet guard to cover the Filling and
Transferring Stations for the purpose of stopping Dust and other elements entering the
product.
At CADDGENESIS, Bengaluru as CAD Trainer & Design
Engineer Title: Electric Box (Steel Metal Enclosure)
Synopsis: The project work included the stainless steel single door wall mounted enclosure range ASR,
with a IP 66 protection degree. Designed & modelled the parts required for creating the
sheet metal enclosure in SolidWorks software and assembled the parts to get the required
dimensions of the project. It included creating the drawings required for the manufacturing
of the electric boxes.
Title: Conveyor CB900 (Flat Belt Conveyor)
Synopsis: The project dealt with crating the conveyor of the Type Profile-1 of ASGCO (conveyor
manufacturer) with the given specifications. It also included developing the parts of driver
drum & tail drum; assembled these sub-assemblies in SolidWorks; custom weldment
supports for the conveyor and so on. Also, calculated the motor sizing calculations for ideal
conveyor transmission
IT Skills: Comprehensive exposure to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NDT, Ansys and Internet Applications
Academic Project:
Title: Enhancing Noise Control in a Cavity Using De-Tuned Helmholtz resonators
Synopsis: The project was based on reducing the low frequency noise by tuning a cavity with the
Helmholtz resonator frequency by coupling them together. In a cavity reducing the low
frequency noise was done by tuning the cavity with the Helmholtz resonator. A resonator is
a device that naturally oscillates at some frequencies i.e. its resonant frequencies. The resonator
and cavity were coupled together to reduce low frequency noise.
Modelled the cavity which is to be tuned and find the natural frequency of the cavity
Designed the neck which alters the coupled cavity’s natural frequency.
