ABOUT HACKVERSE
HackVerse serves as a platform to encourage
enthusiastic minds to brainstorm on solutions
for challenging issues from all over India.

The unified motive of gathering all like-minded

hackers to our alma mater led to the creation of
the idea in NITK Surathkal, the first of its kind. We
provide a platform for innovations where
developers can test and showcase their potential
to the best of their abilities. The hackathon also
comprises keynotes and workshops by
executives from the industry.

PREVIOUS EDITIONS
The first edition of HackVerse began as a 24 hours long festival of innovation with fun
events and workshops, serving as a platform for the most enterprising students in the
country. HackVerse 1.0 was conducted nationwide in offline mode on January 25th, 2020. It
was a tremendous success with 2400+ total registrations and 180+ hackers hosted from
80+ different institutes from all over India.

The second edition was an even bigger success, with it breaking all records set by its
predecessor. HackVerse 2.0 was conducted a year later, on February 27th, 2021, in the online
mode. More than 2800 hackers registered, and 700+ hackers tuned in from 140+ different
institutes for one of the largest student-run hackathons in India.

The third edition HackVerse 3.0 received 1510 registrations from 50+ colleges across India,
including several IITs/NITs and many reputed private universities.
After extensive shortlisting, around 173 participants have been shortlisted for the online
hackathon.

PREVIOUS EDITIONS
The fourth edition HackVerse 4.0 received a total of 1780 registrations from 150+ colleges
across India including several IITs/NITs and many reputed private universities. More than
650 participants have submitted their applications for review. Around 150 were shortlisted
for the offline hackathon.

The fifth edition, HackVerse 5.0 is set to elevate innovation like never before! This year, we
target a broader audience, welcoming students from colleges across India and overseas.
We've already received an overwhelming response through our feedback forms, promising
a diverse and competitive event.

Each edition of HackVerse were sponsored by 30+ companies,
