Safety inductions
1. It is recommended to read this User's Manual before starting the operation of the receiver.
2. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands as it may cause electric shock.
3. Never open the cover. It is very dangerous to touch the inside of the unit due to the possibility
of an electric shock.
4. Keep the unit in a well ventilated and cool environment.
5. When this unit is not in use for a long time, it is recommended to have the AC/DC adaptor
unplugged from the socket. Also a damaged power cord should not be used as it might cause fire
or an electric shock.
6. A professional installation is required. In case of any signal interruption, contact your local
service center / installer.
7. Place the unit horizontally. An uneven placement may cause the unit to be damaged.
8. Do not put heavy items such as a TV on the unit. This may damage the unit.
9. Do not expose the unit to water.
10. Do not place water containing items such as vase on the unit.
11. Do not install the unit:
•Where it is exposed to vibration.
•Where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
•Where there is humidity.
•Where the temperature is too high or too low.
•Where there is no ventilation.
12. Moving the unit from a cold environment to a hot one would cause some humidity to the
internal components. Do not operate the unit for one or two hours until components have dried-
up completely.
13. The main plug is used to disconnect device.
14. The disconnect device shall remain readily operational.
15. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

Unpacking and setup hardware

Below pictures show how our product looks like and the way the hardware is installed.

Hardware Installation

As shown, connect the interfaces on your television set with the corresponding interfaces

on your receiver (the TV set is connected to your receiver by an HDMI cable / Jack to RCA).

Your dish cable is connected to your receiver through the LNB-IN interface. the receiver

can be switched on by having it connected to the electricity socket by using the AC/DC

power adaptor.

Remote Control Unit

Installation guide
This receiver is preinstalled with Satellites. After turning on the receiver,follow the first installation
guide to choose preferred menu language, HDMI output resolution, screen size and configure
internet connection through Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Also, the first Installation guide helps you to search satellite TV / Radio channel manually, load
backup channel list from USB / SD card storage or load channel list from internet. We advise you to
download the TV / Radio channel list from internet automatically and you could watch TV
immediately.
Please contact our appointed customer service center for assistance if you have any question about
searching the TV / Radio channel list manually.

How to add or delete satellite?

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line (DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right, choose ‘’Dish Setting‘’, press OK
button, to display the “Dish setting” menu.
3. Press RED button to delete satellite, Press BLUE button to add satellite.

How to setup a USALS Motorized System

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line (DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right, choose ‘’Motorized Setting‘’, press
OK button, to display the “Motorized setting” menu.
3. Go to the third line(DiSEqC Motor) and use the ◀/▶ buttons on the remote to select USALS.
4. Go to “Local Longitude” and “Local Latitude” and enter the coordinates of where you live
(London’s Longitude is 00.1 West and South of UK’s Latitude is51.5 North).
5. Go to “Motor Setup” and press OK button. Wait until the Signal Quality is more than 40% in
the progress bar.
When a satellite is found, then all the selected satellites are fully configured for a Motorized
system.
If the Signal Quality is below 40%, then the settings are incorrect and the Longitude needs to
be adjusted.
For example: 00.2, 00.3, 00.4, 5/6/7/8/9 West or East. The Latitude may also need to be
adjusted.
If you still have not got a signal, then the external installation (dish, etc) needs to be adjusted.

How to setup DiSEqC 1.2 System

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line (DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right, choose ‘’Motorized Setting‘’, press
OK button, to display the “Motorized setting” menu.
3. Go to the third line (DiSEqC Motor) and use the ◀/▶ buttons on the remote to select
DiSEqC1.2.
4. Go to “Motor Setup” and press OK button. Wait until the Signal

Operation

Dish Setting

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line(DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right,select “Dish Setting” and press OK
button, the “Dish Setting” menu will be displayed.
- Satellite: Select any satellite by pressing ◀/▶/OK buttons on the remote.
- Frequency: Select frequency by pressing ◀/▶/OK buttons on the remote.
- LNB Power: Select LNB power Auto/V/H/OFF.
- LNB Type: Select your LNB Type Single /OCS/Universal/SaTCR.
- LNB Freq: Select LNB frequency 9750-10600/9750-10750.
- 22K: Select OFF/ON of 0/22 KHz.
- DiSEqC 1.0: Select DiSEqC 1.0 Port.
- DiSEqC 1.1: Select DiSEqC 1.1 Port.
3. View All: Press OK button on the remote to view all option.
4. Auto Scan: Press GREEN ( ) button on the remote to step into “Auto Scan” menu.
5. Manual Scan: Press YELLOW( ) button on the remote to step into “Manual Scan” menu.
6. Edit: Press INFO button on the remote to edit the selected satellite.
7. Delete: Press RED( ) button on the remote to delete the selected satellite.
7. Add: Press BLUE( ) button on the remote to add satellite.

Auto Scan

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line(DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right,select “Auto Scan” and press OK
button, the “Auto Scan” menu will be displayed.
3. Using the ▲/▼ button on the remote to select satellite.
4. press the ▶ button on the remote, move the focus to “Search”, press OK button on the remote
to start search.

Blind Scan

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line(DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right,select “Blind Scan” and press OK
button, the “Blind Scan” menu will be displayed.
3. Using the ▲/▼ button on the remote to select satellite.
4. press the ▶ button on the remote, move the focus to “Search”, press OK button on the remote
to start search.

Manual Scan

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the first line(DVB-S2X Installation) and move to right,select “Manual Scan” and press OK
button, the “Manual Scan” menu will be displayed.
- Satellite: Select any satellite by pressing ◀/▶/OK buttons on the remote.
- Frequency: Select frequency by pressing ◀/▶/OK buttons on the remote.
- Symbol Rate: Displays the current symbol rate of the selected transponder.
- Polarity: Display the current polarization H/V of the selected transponder.
- Scan Type: Select search type (ALL, TV, FTA).
- Network Search: Select Network Search On/Off.
3. Search: Press Red ( )button on the remote to start search.
4. Add TP: Press GREEN ( )button on the remote to add TP.
5. Delete TP: Press YELLOW ( )button on the remote to delete TP.
6. Dish Setting: Press BLUE ( )button on the remote, step into the “Dish Setting” menu.
7. Edit TP: Press INFO button on the remote to edit TP.

Channel Manager

Notes: The default password is 0000 for this media box.


1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Choose the “Channel Manager” and press ◀/▶/OK button, the password input dialog will
disappeared, Input the password “0000”.
3. Select the operation you want to do , press OK button on the remote , so you can edit
channels/move channels/Lock Channels, etc.
Edit Channels
Select the channel you need to edit, press OK button on the remote, so you can rename the
channel or change the Video PID/Audio PID/PCR PID.

Move Channels
Select the channel you want to move, press OK button to mark the channel. You can choose
more than one channel.
Press INFO button to start move, using the▲/▼ button to select a new position, then press OK
to move the marked channels to this position.

Lock Channels
Select the channel you need to lock, press OK button on the remote.

Skip Channels
Select the channel you need to skip, press OK button on the remote.

Delete Channels
Select the channel you need to delete, press OK button on the remote.

Set Channels
Select the favorite group you want to add channels to, press OK button on the remote, the
channels list will be displayed. Press OK button to add channels to the favorite group.

Add Channels
After you edit the information of the channel, press YELLOW button to save.

When you are done with all this operation, please select “YES” in the dialog to save.

Channel Selection

■ If you know the channel number, enter the channel number by using numeric buttons on the
remote and wait for 1 second until the selected channel is displayed.
Then if you press OK button, channel list will be displayed.
■ If you know the channel name, press OK button on the remote, then the channel list will be
displayed. Select the channel you want to watch by using ▲/▼, OK buttons on the remote.

You can navigate between channels with these buttons.


- ▲/▼ : Moves up/down.

- PAGE: Move page up / page down.
- RED ( ): Display all channels / FTA channels / CAS channels / HD channels in current satellite.
- GREEN ( ): To find channel by input channel name.
- YELLOW ( ): Display channels sorted by NAME/FREE/SCRAMBL/LOCK/TP, etc.
- BLUE ( ): Display channels sorted by alphabetical order.
You can use F4 button to change satellite list and FAV button to change favorite list.
You can use numeric keys to move to your desired channel swiftly.
When the selected channel is highlighted, press OK on the remote to view the channel.

EPG (Electronic Program Guide)

This sub-menu allows you to view the electronic program guide (if available).
1. Press the EPG button on the remote, the menu will be displayed.
2. When the focus is on the channel list, Press ▲/▼ button to change the channel.
3. When the focus is on the data list, Press ▲/▼ button to view the previous/next day (total 7
days) EPG.
4. Press the OK button to view Extended EPG information.

EPG Timer

This sub-menu allows you to set the program reservation using EPG time.
1. Press the EPG button on the remote, the menu will appear.
2. If the current channel has EPG information, choose the program you want to reserve, press
the GREEN button on the remote, the submenu will be displayed.
3. Press “Save” for timer reservation after you set the timer menu.

Conditional Access

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the last line (Conditional Access), show the Conditional Access items.

Note: The default pin is 000000 for the media box.

Watching Level Set


1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the last line (Conditional Access) and move to right,select “Watching Level Set” and

press OK button on the remote.
3. Enter the pin, use ◀/▶ button on the remote to change Watching Level.
4. Move the highlighter to the OK button,press OK button on the remote.

Password Modify
1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the last line(Conditional Access) and move to right,select “Password Modify” and press
OK button on the remote.
3. Enter the old pin, input the new pin, input the new pin again to confirm.
4. Move the highlighter to the OK button , press OK button on the remote. The password is
changed.

Product Accredit Info
1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the last line(Conditional Access) and move to right,select “Product Accredit Info” and
press OK button. The product accredit information will show.

Email
1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the last line(Conditional Access) and move to right,select “Email” and press OK button.
The email list will show.
- OK ( ): Select the current email.
- RED ( ): Delete the selected email.
- GREEN ( ): Delete all emails.

System Setting

Language Settings

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “language” and press OK button
3. Use ◀/▶ button on the remote to change language. We can change the language one by one,
or change all the language by one step if we press the OK button first.

AV Setting

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “AV Setting” and press OK button,
the “AV Setting” menu will be displayed.
- TV System: Select the color television broadcasting system (PAL/NTSC/Auto).
- Video Resolution: Select the video resolution: 1080p>1080i > 720p > 576p > 576i.
- Aspect Mode: Select your TV screen (Auto/4.3LetterBox/4.3PanScan / 16:9).
- Video Effects: Select video effects (Standard/Default/Vivid).
- RF System: Select among supported PAL standards (PAL B/G, PAL- I, PAL-D/K).
- RF Channel: Set the RF channel to which to display the audio and video signals on your TV
set (21 to 69). If you select 40, they will be displayed at channel 40 on your TV set.
- Recall Set: Set recall mode (On/Off).
- Audio Out: Select audio output type (BS Out / LPCM Out).

Time Setting

This submenu arrows you to set your local time


1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “Local Time Setting” and press OK button, the
“Local Time Setting” menu will be displayed.
- GMT Usage: If you turn it ON, local time is determined by adjusting the difference from GMT
(Greenwich Meantime), according to your location.
- GMT-Offset: If GMT Usage is ON, set the right offset. The Local time is GMT time +Local Offset.
- Summer Time: You can adjust day light time
- Date: Display current date
- Tim : Display current time.
Press the OK button on the remote before you edit the date or time, change the number by using
▲/▼, numeric buttons on the remote. When you finished, press OK button again to save.

Factory Setting

Notes: The default password is 0000 for this media box.


1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “Factory Setting” .
3. Press OK button then input the password, choose the “Yes” button, Press the OK button on the
remote.

Parental Lock

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “Parental Lock” and press OK button, the “Parental
Lock” menu will be displayed.
- Menu Lock: Lock the “channel manager” menu or not.
- Channel Lock: Set the channel lock.
- New Password: Set the new password.
- Confirm Password: Confirm the new password.

OSD Setting

1. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.


2. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “OSD Setting” and press OK button, the “OSD
Setting” menu will be displayed.
- Subtitle Display: Set the subtitle display or not.
- OSD Timeout: Select the display duration of the information banner. (1sec~10sec, On)
- OSD Transparency: Select OSD transparency of the menu. (10% ~ 100%).

USB Upgrade

1. Insert USB Memory Stick to USB port.


2. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
3. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “USB Upgrade” and press OK button, the “USB
Upgrade” menu will be displayed.
- Upgrade Mode: Set the upgrade mode.
All Code: Upgrade the system.
Main code: Upgrade the applications.
User DB: Upgrade the user data.
- Upgrade File: Choose the right file.
4. Move the focus to the “Start”, press OK button on the remote to start upgrade.

USB Backup

1. Insert USB Memory Stick to USB port.


2. Press MENU button on the remote to display the main menu.
3. Go to the “System” and move to right,select “USB Backup” and press OK button, the “USB
Backup” menu will be displayed.
4. Use ◀/▶ button on the remote to switch backup mode.
Preset: Backup preset satellite list.
User DB: Backup current channel data, and progress bar will be displayed.
5. Move the focus to the “Start”, press OK button on the remote to start back-up.

Troubleshooting

No signal on the HDTV

 Check if the HDMI cable is securely connected.

 Check if you have selected the correct HDMI input on your HDTV.

 Check the antenna cable, replace the cable, or connect the cable to the receiver tightly.

 Set the values of the tuner parameters correctly in the installation menu.

 Check the antenna connections.

Cannot connect to network

 Make sure the network / internet cable is securely connected and he Ethernet port properly.

 Make sure the Wi-Fi network is connected and the security key for the encrypted network

is correctly inserted.

 Make sure you select the correct IP address settings.

Some HDTV cannot display the entire picture

 Setup the screen ratio on your HDTV as automatic.

 On your HDTV, go to Menu >Screen >Press arrow buttons to select the ratio type >

Choose automatically display the entire screen.

The remote control does not work

 Make sure the batteries are in a good condition and they are inserted correctly in the

remote control.

 Make sure no objects block the path between the remote control and the signal sensor of

your receiver.

 Make sure the distance between the remote control and your receiver is no more than 5

meters.

 Check the power of your batteries, in case it is depleted, please get them replaced with

new ones.

No picture or sound

 Check if the Audio / Video output connection from your receiver to your TV is connected

correctly.

 In case of no sound: Press the MUTE button.

 In case of no picture: Turn TV on.
