I. Motivation/Pre-Assessment
Students will find a partner and they will talk about the current ICT situation
and how ICT help shape our history and culture.
Each student will also share their personal experience on how ICT change
his/her way of life.
• Identify and analyze issues wherein ICT is used for social movement
• Present the importance of ICT as a vital toll for change
• Initiate an ICT related activity that could promote a social change in your
community

III. Lesson Proper
During the tribal age, our ancestors started communicating through body and
verbal communication.
• Wall paintings and stone carving
• Chinese invented movable type
• By 1440, Johannes Gutenberg invented printing press
• Electronic-based communication - telegraph
• Development of PC started
• Chip technology and magnetic disc
• Word processing, accounting, and graphics
• Small connections
• Internet – broke the distance barriers
Fifth Phase: Wireless Technology
Wired connections were already a huge
advancement for the Internet but we can
now use wireless technology to access
different social media.
IV. Practice/Drills
Each student will create an electronic poster showing how ICT can be used to
identify and analyze issues for social movement.
REDDIT to Demonstrate
Each group will create a Vlog that promotes and initiates social change in
your community through ICT.
