E-MOSFET: E-MOSFET is a MOSFET which is operated in

enhancement mode.
Construction of e- MOSFET: n channel E-MOSFET has no
current between source to drain. The substrate P-type
materials place in the middle of the channel. Again P-channel E-
MOSFET has no channel between source to drain and the
substrate and type place in the middle. For proper operation of
E-MOSFET and minimum gate to source voltage required.

Operation of e- MOSFET:

For in general when the Bgs= 0 channel path creating so the

current not flow from drain to source. When the VGS is positive
it attract electron in P-type touches in silicon dioxide(SiO2)
layers. when the VGS more positive all electrons touches the
silicon dioxide layers and this free electron create a path and
conduct current.
For P-type when BGS= 0 there are no path creating current.
when VGS is negative holds in the n-channel touches silicon
dioxide(SiO2) layer and further increasing negative VGS all
holes touches SiO2 layers and conduct current.
so we see that the current conduction through E- mosfet starts
at a some value of BGS, this BGS is called threshold
voltage(Vgsth).
