Assessment:

Answer the following questions

1. How can technology be used effectively in various fields of specialization to support and assess
student learning?
● Strengthening Early Childhood Education
- Teachers can use technology to teach kindergarten learners about alphabets,
numbers and shapes through songs and other interactive activities online. For
example playing a song about alphabets and shapes that can be found on the
internet and having your students sing along with it.
● Making the Curriculum Relevant to Learners
- Show first some photos of shapes and some objects that can be found around
the area. How can your students use the things they've learned in your
classroom in the real world? Make them experience the knowledge of knowing
the shapes in real world situations. Do an activity with them giving out shapes
about objects in their surroundings for you to know if they've learned or not.
● Building Proficiency
- With the technologies we have, even if we don’t have prior knowledge in teaching
our mother tongue, we can teach the learner with the help of e-materials. With
these materials found on the internet we can help our students to understand
their first language more.
● Ensuring Integrated and Seamless Learning
- With the internet students can access learning materials easily. They can revisit
their lessons quickly. You can upload your lesson in a group chat for your
students to study if they have time and if they are having a hard time in a specific
topic.
● Gearing Up for the Future
- Teachers make sure that students are ready to go to college with the K-12
curriculum. Everyone should have prior knowledge about media and technology
skills as this is used in everything. Students may go in different paths and
different courses yet they still use technology with their education. That’s why it
has been added in the new curriculum that students need to be equipped with
basic knowledge about technology and media literacy.
● Nurturing the Holistically Developed Filipino
- Technological support is one of the things that teachers need in building a better
curriculum. One of which is evaluating every student. With the new technology
like grammarly where teachers can check for any plagiarism in the student’s
work. And the most used technology by the teachers is Excel, it helps teachers to
lessen the load of work as they don’t need to make computations for each
student every time they make activities.
2. How will you apply all the knowledge and skills that you learned in TTL 2 in teaching your field of
specialization?
- I will both use traditional and digital materials in my teaching. I will also make every material I
use accessible to all my students for them to have a copy and may use it in the near future.
Implementation of digital instruction to my class would be my priority but I would still use the
traditional way of instruction. Make use of google classroom and other online websites to share
my instructional materials to my students. Technological teaching isn’t just about you teaching
your students but also you as a teacher learning from online contents and widen your
knowledge about your lesson using the internet and the learning materials available.

3. How will you develop learning plans for your classes to make sure that available technologies for
teaching and learning will be put into use for meaningful learning?
- With the use of digital materials like audio-visual materials, powerpoint and some online
applications for your students activity like an online wheel instead of using an index card when
you’re doing a recitation. Like what I have explained in number 2, I will always make my learning
materials available online, perhaps making a google drive folder that is accessible to all of my
students.
