At MSL, we value our employees' productivity, flexibility, and satisfaction. To support these
goals, we offer a laptop purchase program that allows employees to acquire their own laptops
for work-related purposes. In addition to enabling personal choice, this policy outlines the
benefits and guidelines associated with the program.
➢ The laptop purchase program enables employees to acquire a laptop of their choice
for work-related use.
➢ Employees may select any laptop brand, model, or configuration that meets the
company's minimum requirements for hardware specifications and compatibility with
company software and systems.
➢ The company has provided a list of recommended laptop specifications and vendors
to assist employees in making informed choices at the end of the policy.
➢ Employees are responsible for the full cost of the laptop purchase, including taxes,
shipping, and any additional accessories or warranties.
➢ The laptop becomes the personal property of the employee upon purchase.
➢ Employees participating in the laptop purchase program are responsible for ensuring
that the purchased laptop is adequately protected, maintained, and used in
compliance with the company's policies, including security and acceptable use.
➢ The company reserves the right to monitor laptops used for work-related purposes to
ensure compliance with company policies and protect sensitive information.
➢ In the event of loss, damage, or theft of the employee's personally owned laptop, the
company is not responsible for replacement or repair costs.
➢ Employees are required to report any changes in their laptop's ownership or status
(e.g., sale, transfer, or disposal) to the IT department or designated authority.
➢ The company retains the right to modify or terminate the laptop purchase program
at any time, subject to appropriate notice to employees.
➢ Security of organizational data will be the responsibility of the employee.
➢ Employee must intimate to the company before one month in case he/she wants
surrender/leave the policy.
➢ By participating in the laptop purchase program, employees acknowledge their
understanding and agreement to comply with this policy, as well as any additional
policies, guidelines, or agreements related to laptop use, security, and acceptable use.
Eligibility
➢ Employee must be on permanent payroll of the company.
➢ Employee must accept all other criteria established by the company, including
compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
➢ Employee must present and submit the valid proof of purchase of the laptop.
➢ Laptop must meet the standard configuration.
