MINUTES ON THE OPENING OF SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL-


Early Language Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN) Digital

Time Ended:3:30 PM

Southcom Elementary School SPED Center conducted the opening program for the
School Learning Action Cell (SLAC). And it happened last November 11, 2022 at 3
o’clock in the afternoon. Teachers from Kindergarten to Grade Three were the
participants in the SLAC Session in Early Language Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN)
Digital. There are a total of 57 teacher-participants, Kindergarten-10 teachers,
Grade 1- 14 teachers, Grade 2- 14 teachers, Grade 3- 14 teachers and 5
teachers handling Learner’s with Special Educational Needs. The said group
was divided in three subgroups, Group 1 composes of Grade 1 and 4 Kindergarten
teachers, Group 2 composes of Grade 2 and 3 Kindergarten teachers and Group 3
composes of Grade 3, 3 Kindergarten teachers and 5 LWD teachers.

As what our dear school principal have made mentioned during the delivery of
her message that having this SLAC Sessions, is an avenue where we teachers will
learn, re-learn and unlearn things that we can use in our everyday teachings
especially in reading, where we teachers find it a serious problem nowadays.

The said SLAC Session was facilitated by the following: Zoraida S. Saral, Master
Teacher II, Jennifer L. Tan, Master Teacher I, Nurmina S. Hawrani, Teacher III, Maria
Crista Jane I. Ventusa, Teacher II and Crisaldo H. Cordura, Teacher I.

The SLAC Session in ELLN Digital will be held every Friday at 3;00 o’clock in the
afternoon up to four thirty. Three rooms from the SPED Building were identified and
will serve as venue on the whole duration of the said SLAC.

The matrix and the manner on how this training will be conducted were
presented during the opening program. The plenary session ended and the teachers
already proceeded to the assigned rooms for their group. And the sessions that were
scheduled for that date (November 11, 2022) commenced. The first session ended at
4:40 in the afternoon.
