Purchase Engineer| Arpora, North Goa

Jaglax Homes is a luxury real estate and hospitality firm located in North Goa.

We are a dynamic and talented team of professionals with diverse skill sets who share a passion for creating
exceptional homes and offering world class hospitality services across these homes.

Since inception in 2016, we have designed and developed 3 gated communities of 25 luxury homes and
provide world-class hospitality services across them. We have grown from a small team of less than 10
members in 2019, to 75+ members in 2024. Even with our continued growth, we maintain a close-knit familial
atmosphere, allowing us to infuse personal touches into our homes and hospitality services.

With additional projects in the pipeline, we are expanding our team further. At this stage, we are looking for
an experienced Purchase Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

 Determining material requirements: Examine the drawings, assess the material requirements,
approve and submit the material requisition accurately so as to facilitate purchase of appropriate
quantities of materials.
 Vendor Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and
reliability.
 Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with
budget constraints and quality standards.
 Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions.
 Compliance Monitoring: Keep procurement activities compliant with internal policies and external
regulations.
 Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure the purchased materials meet
all necessary quality metrics.
 Order Management: Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery,
ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
 Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers for long-term
partnership and potential cost savings.
 Technical Liaison: Serve as the point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers to
clarify technical specifications or resolve issues.
 Contract Management: Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both
short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
Requirement and Skills:

 A minimum of 3 years in procurement for construction materials

 Prior experience with vendor management and understanding of market rates

 Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation. Previous involvement in cost-reduction initiatives

 Ability to effectively collaborate with site engineers.

 Proficiency in Konkani is an advantage

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engg

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 30,000 per month
