Exercise 1:

The diagram illustrates the amount of monthly tourists to Talbard Towers


Theme Park Park the previous year. It is clear that the number of
attendances fluctuated significantly throughout the year. The visit to the park
can be divided into three distinct period: January to May, June to September
and October to December. Over the first four months of the year, the
number of visitors rose gradually from 30.000 to around 70.000, and
subsequently plummeted to a new low of 20.000 in May. During the next 4
months, visitors numbers fluctuated erratically. There was a remarkable
increase in June with attendances soaring 500%, reaching 120.000.
However, this upward trend didn't last long, as it was followed by a sudden
decline in July, with the numbers falling back to below 80.000. August
experienced a sharp turnaround in attendances, with numbers leaping from
just around 80.000 to 140.000. The last three months showed a downward
trend in visitor numbers, with the quantity of tourist dropping from the peak in
September to 20.000 visitors per month until the end of the year.
