Job description
Research With over 38 million people infected worldwide, HIV remains a major public health issue.
project Antiviral therapies are effective in limiting virus replication, but its persistence in viral
reservoirs hinders the hope of curing patients. The objective of the project developed by the
postdoctoral researcher is to deepen knowledge of the molecular mechanisms which
contribute to the regulation of the viral and cellular transcriptomes during viral replication and
latency. The research program will be based on techniques in cell biology (cell culture,
isolation of T lymphocytes from blood samples), virology (viral production and infections),
molecular biology (RT-qPCR, Western blot, immunopurification of complexes...), flow
cytometry, imaging (immunofluorescence), as well as sequencing analyses (short and long
reads).
