GOLDFIELDS RESOURCES INFORMATION

Gold Field recourses is a fully registered company in Zambia. Our experience in mining, the
group has undertaken many challenging
projects and accumulated skill, know-how and experiences in design and build
solutions, project management services, building trades and related engineering
works.
Today, Gold fields resources take on the role of main contractor for major
projects and performs project management services to coordinates specialist
trades for industrial/commercial projects. We also provide design inputs and
engineering solutions as value – add services to our clients.

Our objective is to provide our clients with an “I am assured” experience when


we are chosen to execute their projects. Our emphasis on clear communication
and follow – through procedures ensures that client’s objectives are top priority
in the planning and execution of all our processes.
Our project management and execution philosophy is:
 Create detail schedule and resources plan to meet client’s project
 objective.
 Communicate clearly with all project stakeholders.
 Track project progress and fine-tune deviations.
 Supervise closely on quality of work done
 Complete and commission the project on time

Our Management Team:


Our business is driven by our directors, collectively they accumulated more than
25 years of work experience in the building industry. They are involved in
Procurement, project management and administration of the company.
The management team proactively gathers feedback, identifies changes in business
environment, reviews work processes and communicates key learning points and
company policy to all staff at regular meetings.
Work Spectrum

We aim to provide comprehensive sector-specific construction and infrastructure solutions to


the Mining Industry:
• Bulk Earthworks – Box cut/ Bulk excavations, platforms, haul roads, earth fill dams, RESA walls.
• Reinforced Concrete Structures – Foundations, Structures, water retaining structures,
Retaining walls.
• Services – storm water, sewer, water reticulation.
• Mining and underground infrastructure.
• Geotechnical Services, including lateral support, bridge jacking, pipe jacking and shotcrete
activities

However, the list is in no way exclusive, and we are able to consult on a broad range of
construction and infrastructure requirements. Through our large network of well-placed service
providers, sub-contractors and suppliers we bring a high level of expertise and creativity to the
table to ensure construction projects are managed with innovation, efficiency, and solid
productivity and financial performance for our clients.

evaluation of compliance through incident investigation, corrective and preventative action by
means of internal and external audits.

Business Model

Governed by our five core values; behave like an owner, act with a sense of urgency, be a team
player, continually improve, and deliver results, we have become the world’s pre-eminent gold
mining company. To increase total returns for our shareholders, we aim to increase earnings and
operating cash flow and to provide leverage to gold prices through annual gold production and
growing our reserve/resource base through a combination of organic growth, driven by new
mineral reserve discoveries and the development of new projects, and through acquisitions.

Our profitability is largely dependent upon the volume of gold and copper production, realized
prices of gold and copper and production costs. As gold prices have risen in recent years, we
have been able to realize higher cash margins per ounce through containment of production
costs. Although gold production has seen a declining trend in the past three years, we intend to
increase production levels through the development of new mines and through acquisitions.

Building new mines is key to our long-term goal of increasing profitability and building
shareholder value. It can take several years for a project to move from the exploration stage
through to mine construction and production. Our business strategy reflects this long lead time
by ensuring that we have an inventory of projects combined with effective management of
current operating mines

Our inventory of advanced exploration targets and development projects represents an


important component of our long-term strategy of growing our reserves and resources. Our
exploration is focused on prospective land positions and we prioritize exploration targets to
optimize the investment in our exploration programs. An economic discovery is no longer a
guarantee of a new mine, as considerable opposition to new mining projects can develop from
institutional NGOs or unstable political climates. The development of a new mine requires
successful permitting and government relations, community dialogue and engagement, and
significant financial and human capital.
