Due: Friday, 10/1/21

Submit by 5:00 pm on Blackboard (Turnitin Link)

Part 1 - Discussion
Identify a student partner (registered in the same section as you) to help review your first draft of
the professional licensure paper (submitted as Writing Assignment #1). Exchange drafts and read
each other’s papers and discuss how each other can improve. Some suggestions for your
discussion include the following:
 Attempt to summarize in your own words the main idea of the paper you read and
whether this was successfully conveyed.
 Are there areas that could be clarified or simplified?
 What is the pverall impression conveyed by spelling / grammar / style?
 Be sure to point out at least one strength and one weakness of your partner’s paper. Be
constructive.

Part 2 – Follow up questions (to submit)

For this writing assignment, submit your answers to these follow up questions:
(1) Name one strength of your paper as identified by your partner.
(2) Name one weakness of your paper as identified by your partner.
(3) What was the most useful feedback that you received from your partner?
(4) What do you think was the most useful feedback you gave your partner?
(5) How will the feedback you received today help with your next revision? What main things
do you want to focus on when you rewrite this paper?

Your written response to these questions will be graded for this assignment. Save the feedback
from your partner; you will use it to help rewrite your professional licensure paper in a future
writing assignment.
