Your team works for a national exterminating company’s information technology division. The
team focuses on setting up networks for new local branch offices. In this situation, you have
been asked to come in and set up a system in a newly constructed warehouse facility. The
interior of the building is basic construction with steel beams for support and drywall for walls
(limited insulation). The exterior of the building is metal. Assume the shape of the facility is
square with 10 offices, a reception area, and a meeting room located within.
Scenario
Your team is being asked to set up a system for 10 wired computers, 30 wireless devices, and
30 laptops. The company needs easy and efficient connections for the sales reps go in and out
of the office without issues with service. The network needs to be able to handle any software
program including ones that require large amounts of data. Additionally, the system needs to
match with a company-wide initiative that allows company representatives to visit the branch
and have the same accessibility.
