4. Talk about the role of mobile phone in daily life

Nowadays, the mobile phone plays a major role in our lives, which brings many
benefits to us in daily life. First of all, the mobile phone is considered the
quickest means of communication in our daily life, we can contact easily with
our friends and our relative wherever by calling or sending messages. Second,
the mobile phone is also a means of entertainment for people. We can listen to
music and play games on mobile phone. Moreover, by using the latest apps for
smartphones , we can access to the internet to watch Film and check our profile
in social networks and update our status wherever we are. Final, If we have a
smartphone in hand, our studying becomes more effective such as look up
dictionary, find out many source of reference on internet which is useful for
studying.
In conclusion, mobile phone is necessary for our modern lives today. However it
is helpful or not , which depends on our ways of using it. It will be better if we
use it true purpose and in an appropriate time.

5, Talk about living in a big family

living in a big family or an extended family has several advantages

.Firstly, by living in an extended family, it means there are always some people
who are willing to help, especially in a bad situation. For example
, when the son is facing a financial burden, other family members can support
him to deal with the difficult situation.Additionally, the large family provides an
amazing opportunity to spend time together, which will increase the
relationships of each member in the family.Finally, some extended families pool
their resources to run their home, which helps each individual to save
money.Therefore, all family members would feel more comfortable and they
could concentrate on their jobs or hobbies.
But in a big family, it's easier to have generation gap, the parents may
misunderstanding the teenage. Everyone in the family solve one problem in
diffirent way so it can release some argument.

6. Talk about living in a big city

I was borned and growed in Ha Noi , a capital of VietNam, a quite big and also
very busy city.
There are many advantages as well as disadvantages of living in the city.
In the city, the houses are supplied with electricity and drinking-water. People
go from place to place very quickly by motorbike, by bus or by taxi. Housewives
can buy everything they need in shops and supermarkets everywhere. Children
can study at the schools near their houses. For entertainment, city people can
go to cinema or amusement centres evry easy. Urban workers always earn more
money than the farmers do in the countryside. The service in the big city is also
much more better than in the countryside.
Beside all of that benerfit, there are so many disadvantage of living in the big
city. For example: the pollution of air, water and noise in the city badly affects
people’s health. Traffic accidents and social evils, which are popular in the city,
also threaten people’s safety and happiness.
Young people find it more suitable to live in the city, it good for they life .but to
the old people is not quite good to live there.

7. Talk about a famous place

My first visit to a beach in Nha Trang, the coastal city, it was three years ago. It
was a pleasant and memorable trip.Nha trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa
province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Viet nam. In
Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs, the
soft sigh of the sea breeze, clean white sands and turquoise waters, it all makes
for a stunning landscape. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each
morning to stroll along the beach - a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and
enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three
years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands, that is Hon
Tre - the largest of the islands.Nha Trang is the city in hamoney, its fine wather,
favorite position and friendly people bring it a certain balance. Nha Trang is a
great holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back

8. Talk about my best friend

Phuong Anh is my best friend . I was know her since we at grade 8 . Phuong Anh
is shorter than me and she only 40kg . She has a white skin and long hair with a
beautiful face. She is a funny and a very loveable person and everyone can love
her at the first time they meet her .
When it comes to personality, I and Phuong Anh are complete opposites. While
she is very approachable and patient, I am rather bad-tempered and reserved.
To me, one of Phuong Anh’s most admirable personality traits is that she has
good communication skills. I mean, she can easily strike up a conversation with
anyone that she’s just met. As different as our personalities are, we see eye to
eye with each other about a lot of things such as school and relationship.
Now we study at the same school but diffirent major so we don’t meet each
other much, but our house is quite close so when i have free time i can come to
her house or she comes to my house.
I consider Tina my best friend for a couple reasons. Firstly, she really respects
me and loves me for who I am. Secondly, despite having a hectic schedule,
she‘s always willing to lend a sympathetic ear whenever I have problems or feel
demotivated.

10 Talk about future plans

I’d like to share with you my plan, it’s is a small online business in which i intend
to sell some cute items and baby clothes throughout social network like
Facebook. It will be run in the beginning of the summer this year. However, I will
prepare carefully all necessary things before. I will do the plan with my close
friend. While I take responsibility for advertising and decorating a small stall, my
friend look for some of providing companies and new types of clothes that will
attract more customers. There are a lot works we will have to do but I feel so
excited and these works will not be too difficult. Furthermore, I also think I will
have a little bit nervous because it will be the first time I bravely open a
business. But I believe that it will be successful because online business is a new
trend around the world and many people in my country enjoy shopping online
usually. Moreover, I think the online babies -clothed market will be took a lot of
attention from office- women who do not have a lot of time going around and
searching something for their babies.

11 Talk about technology

The innovation of science and technology gave birth to the computer and
internet platform and they also pushed in the opposite direction to change the
world today. The interaction of new technologies has brought about dramatic
changes in the lives of people in this day and age. We no longer have to write
letters to send a message to someone far away, or access to information not
only from paper or magazine articles published on paper ... and clearly on all of
which are cyber-commerce activities including e-commerce.

More and more our activities are closely linked with improvements in science,
technology and information technology. Even areas that have traditionally been
interpreted as "far away" from urban life such as agriculture have been
significantly influenced since the development of the IT industry. For example, in
the old days, the agricultural production from the breeding stage, the land
preparation, to the harvesting stage were all strange areas to consumers.
Today, with the updated farming process and providing more methods of
farming to create a product of quality and prestige for consumers through
websites, brands with full barcodes and identification marks.

12 Talk about my hobby

My name is Phuong, I am 15 years old this year. If my friends like to listen to
music or watch movies, then my hobby is cooking. Most of my family’s meals
are cooked by me. Every day, I buy ingredients after I get home from school and
start going to the kitchen. During the meal I often cook many different dishes.
I like to decorate my food beautifully. In addition to the dishes in my meal, I also
like to make snacks such as cakes, candies, jam, … Whenever I do those things,
I often share them with relatives and friends to enjoy. Everyone compliments
me of my good cooking and I am very happy for that.
I love to cook so I will constantly learn to improve my ability.

13 Talk about last holiday

Last summer, I spent almost a week on vacation in Nha Trang with my family.
The vacation was really enjoyable, my whole family loves the sea, the weather
and the local food here. For us, Nha Trang is the right choice.
We stayed in a hotel with a pretty cheap price but located right in the city
center and not far from the beach. Because of being in the south of Viet Nam so
Nha Trang is sunny and quite cool all year . The sea is so clean that you can sea
the fish swimming under the water . White sand with blue sea make a wonderful
scene, Nha Trang’s beach maybe one of the most beautiful beach on the world.
Beside, the sea food is very fresh and delicious and the local food is very good
too.
After this vacation, I felt my family bonded, understood and loved each other
more.
Not only that, but also the people here are very friendly and help me a lot. I
hope I will be back here as soon as I can because I really like the people and the
weather here.

14. Talk about present place

I really love my neighborhood. It is a quiet, safe place with great neighbors.

Even though it has the regular amount of noise of any place, there are many
peaceful moments. For example, after most people have gone to work, you can
hardly hear any noise. Of course, when the kids get home, there is more noise;
but, it is relatively quiet all day in my neighborhood.
Also, I feel safe in my neighborhood, the kids play outside with no problems.
Since there is not much traffic, we don’t worry too much about
cars.Furthermore, I can walk around my neighborhood without being afraid of
someone hurting me.
My neighbors are really good people. They watch out for each other and this
makes where I live extra nice. If anyone has a problem with their car or even
something in their house, a neighbor is usually there to help. One day, I couldn't
change lightball when my parents weren’t home so my house is very dark , and
my neighbor asked to help me with that . This is just one of the many examples
of how my neighbors are the best people I know. In conclusion, my
neighborhood is a great place to live .There is no place like home and that is my
neighborhood.

15. Talk about your English class

I’m now a student of Ha Noi Open University and English is a force subject for all
major. My English class is incluces more or less forty students and we quite
close. They come from different towns with diffirent accent of Vietnamese but
when talking English we talk the same . Some of them may have more English
courses so their pronounce is more like natives, they will help other students to
develop pronounciation. We also share to each other some tips of learning
English , I have used that and it work to me.
Our teacher is Ms. Hiền. She’s funny and she’s a very good teacher. She not only
teach us about English lesson but also give us some advices about life. She told
us about her experiences so we can have lesson from that . Her pronounciation
is very good so I hope that some day I can talk like her.
I enjoy my English lessons, especially the pronunciation practice. I’m not very
good at English, but I hope to improve the language in the future.

16. Talk about your leisure activities

My favorite things to do in my free time is hanging out with my friends and

playing sports. I love to meet and have relaxing times with my friends at the
weekend.
We usually sit at a coffee shop to chat about our week, or we sometimes go
shopping to buy some foods and then cook them at one of our houses. Those
times are when I feel comfortable to talk about me, and it really helps me to
reduce the pressure from the works of the entire week.
When all of my friends are busy, I choose to go to the park and play some sports
such as badminton and shuttlecock kicking. There are always people that want
to play with me, so I do not need a partner whenever I want to play a sport.
Besides, I also go to the pool to have some fun under the water, and I am pretty
good at swimming. A week for me is so long, but thinking of the free and good
time to do whatever I like on Saturday and Sunday gives me more strength and
energy to finish it.

17. Talk about an interesting book

I am going to talk about a book that l’ve read recently – “ Mắt Biếc” or in English is “
Blue eyes”.
The novel revolves around an one-sight-love story between Ngạn, a country boy, and Hà
Lan, his neighbor, childhood friend and lifelong crush.

Ngạn and Hà Lan grow up together in a remote village in the Central region of Vietnam.
Ngạn develops a strong love, which later becomes obsession, towards Hà Lan, the girl
whose eyes he adores since the very first time they meet. Although they spend their
childhood and adolescence together, they later lead a very different life during their
adulthood. While Ngạn still cherishes the slow-paced life of his village, Hà Lan fails to
resist the allure and glamour of the city life. She ends up falling in love with a playboy
named Dũng, has a baby with him and leaves the child under the protection of her
grandmom and his lifelong crush Ngạn. Ngạn raises her daughter like his own child just
to realise at the end of the story that he is just trying to create another version of his
beloved Hà Lan.

I really love this novel since I can see parts of younger self in it The author’s depiction of
the 1990’s Vietnamese life is just brilliant. The movie adapted from the book is going to
be released this December.

18. Talk about pros and cons of travelling by train

I think there are many advantages about travel by train. First, it is quite cheap, especially
for long distance travel - you can travel from one side Vietnam to the other for about five
hundred thousand dong. I guess that another obvious plus point is that it is much faster
than travelling by road - so you can save time by travelling on trains. Along with this, a
further merit is that you can sleep quite comfortably on long train journeys.

But there are some disadvantages of traveling by train. I suppose the most unfavorable
quality might be that trains are often overcrowded at certain times of a year. This is a
clear limitation because on a long journey you might not be able to find a seat,
which means you have to stand up for hours. At the same time, another stumbling
block might be that train tickets are sometimes difficult to buy, especially around some
holidays, and this can be a hassle because it means you can’t always travel on the actual
day that you want to. You have to travel at certain times and trains cannot take you from
door to door. You need a bus or a taxi to take you to the railway station.

19. Talk about your dreams for future

Since I was a kid, my friends often asked me about my dream job in the future, I thought
and always wanted to be in business like : Saler or open my own store selling a certain
product. The reason I like doing business so much is because my uncle Dũng is an
extremely good businessman. I’ve always admired him. I also think has a own business
will be more free than working in the office, I don’t have to do others commands .
Now,I studying a major has a little bit influence to economy- Finance and Banking . In
addition to studying, I also research more materials and read books to understand more
about different ways of selling. I like spending time to sit with my uncle and talk about
customer needs, the market or how to handle arising problems. This is a job I’ve always
dreamed of. I will strive to become a good businessman in the future.

20. Talk about the way you live

I live in a extended family so my live is also have been influenced by my grandmother
and parents . They always told me to be a good person with good characters like :
kindness, hard working and indepent. My grandmother always told me to kind with
everyone around me ,it may just a simple thing like help a old man or children cross the
road . Whatever I done my parents remind me to responsible about that , after that all the
thing I have to deal with , I do it with my responsibility . When I was just a kid , there is a
time I was lazy and forgot to do my homework , my parents punish me quite hard . It is
the lesson I will be remember for the rest of my life that never being lazy .
The older I get the more that I see , I can learn more from my friend at school such as
team working or being independent. I’m trying my best to improve all of my skills to be a
good person that my parents always want.
