TBDD Longer delay before brake drops (F1 - 2).
TBPD Longer delay in picking the brake(F2 - 3).
TBRD Longer delay before the brake voltage is increased back to the
picking voltage from the weakening voltage, providing smooth brake
lift (F2 - 3).
TSPD Longer delay in the application of the speed command (used to

contract speed at which the motor field starts to be weakened during
acceleration and strengthened during deceleration (F2 - 2).

INDICATORS
PWR/ ON = DDP is looping,
COM-PT OFF = no 5V power supply,
blinking = DDP is not looping.
SFLT Illumination indicates that the Digital
Drive’s safety monitoring functions have
detected one or more safety failures in
the Drive Unit and tripped the FLT relay.
RUN Illumination indicates that the
ENABLE Digital Drive is initiating motion.
CHA-A Illumination reflects the transition of the
channel A quadrature signal from the
hoist motor encoder. The input is used
only if an encoder is used instead of a
tachometer.
CHA-B Illumination reflects the transition of the
channel B quadrature signal (see CHA-A)

Jumper Description Test Points

JP1 OFF Velocity Encoder jumper, currently COM This is the reference test point against which all other test points are measured. The
not used oscilloscope or voltmeter common lead wire connects here.

JP2 OFF Velocity Encoder jumper, currently T Tachometer test point. Maximum is +8VDC (if over 9.9VDC change jumper TVR on IMC-RI
not used board). Use trimpot R9 to set to exactly +8VDC at contract speed.

JP3 A A = Motor Field Weakening signal BFI Brake Field Current: Maximum is +6VDC. Change JP1 on IMC-GPA board if over +6VDC.

JP4 OFF OFF = HIT from SCR MFI Motor Field Current: Maximum is +8VDC. Change JP2 on IMC-GPA board if over +8VDC.

JP5 OFF OFF = DRO status from SCR DCS Current Command Signal: 3.0VDC = 100% of SCR Drive rated current. Maximum +/- 5VDC.

JP6 ON ON = DC motor current CHA-A, If a velocity encoder is used, the channel A and B quadrature signals from the hoistmotor
CHA-B encoder can be verified at these test points.

JP7 ON ON = DC motor armature voltage STP1, These test points can be assigned to any software variables listed in Table R.18,
STP2 SOFTWARE TEST POINT ASSIGNMENTS by setting parameters TP1 and TP2.
