TeraTerm Setup - TMSE
TeraTerm Setup - TMSE
Select serial and preferably com1 which is the standard serial port on our laptop.
After pressing the OK button the Terminal emulator screen remains, but is too small
so we have to make it fit to a full screen on your laptop.
Go to the Setup Menu and select Terminal
Checkmark the following box Term size = win size and press the OK button.
Go to Setup and select Window.
Checkmark in the following window Background and press the Reverse button once.
Select Size = 12
and press OK
You will notice that the size of the emulator screen will change.
Now you can move the position of the emulator screen to the far left top corner on
your laptop screen. Then move the cursor to the right bottom corner of the emulator
screen and with the left mouse button pressed drag the size of the emulator screen
until it fits the full screen.
Go again to Setup and select the correct settings for the serial port
After this the settings must be saved. However the .INI file can be a read only file.
Solution for this is to save it under a different name like “TERATERM1”, and later
rename the file to “TERATERM” after deleting the original TERATERM file.
When the TeraTerm emulator is now started it will immediately get the correct
settings.
