Community
The word community was derived from the Latin word
Communis which means Common or Shared.
A community is a group of people living in the same place
or having a particular characteristic in common such as
norms , values , religion or identity.
Scope:
Encompasses social cultural and economic interactions.
Example:
Neighborhood community, Interest based and online
community .
Features of Community

of students under the direction of teachers.

Teaching
Teaching is a relationship which keeps the child to develop
all his power.
The act of imparting knowledge skills or value to learners.

Involve method strategies to facilitate learning

The word Culture was derived from Latin word Cultura
which means cultivation.
Culture refers to attitudes , values , customs and behavior
patterns that characterize a social group.
Culture is the way of life which is transmitted from
generation to generation.Its the way of life that is passed
down from generation , shaping our identity and
influencing how we think , feel and interact with others.
Components of Culture
Culture is comprised of five different components :

4. Beliefs

Anything that stands for or represents something else
Language
The key to the world of culture .A system of symbols that
allows people to communicate with one another.
Values
Values are defined as Fundamental potinciples and ethics.
Beliefs
Specific statements that people hold to be true
Norms
Social rules and guidelines , guide appropriate behavior
for specific situations

2.Symbolic: Represented through language,symbols and
artiacts.
3.Common:
Common to group or society

Evoluing and changing ovextime.
5.Diverse:
Varing across different groups and society.

music of arth.
Society
The term has been derived from the Latin word Socious
that means association or companionship.
According to Wright Society means a large group of
individuals , who are associated with each other.
According to Green Society is a system of relationships
that exists among individuals of the groups.
Society is a dynamic and ever evolving system of
interconnected individuals who share a common culture
values and institution.
It is a largest group in which individuals have relationships.
Social System
A social system refers to the complex network of
relationships and structure that define and regulate human
society.
Social system refers to the interconnected set of
individuals, groups, institutions, and relationships that form
a society.It encompasses the patterns of social interaction,
norms, roles, and structures that shape social behavior
and maintain social order.
The concept of a social system is used to understand how
different elements of society are organized and function
together.

Inter-dependence:
Members of social system depend on each other for
survival support and fulfilling needs. They form network of
relationships.
Structure:
Each member have a specific role and status within the
the system defining their right , responsibilities and
expectations.
Goals:
Members of a social system offer common goals that
guide actions.
Culture:
A social system influenced by shared culture including
beliefs , values, customs and traditions.
Aaptations:
Social systems are capable of adapting to changing
environment such as technological and advancement
economic fluctuations or social movements.

Communication:
The exchange of ideas, information between individuals
such as verbal and non verbal
Influence:
The ability of one individual and goup to effect thoughts,
feeling behaviour of one another.
Responses:
The reactions of individual or group to the actions or words
of other.
Norms:
The unwritten rules that govern social behaviour It can be
formal and informal.
Roles:
The expected behaviour associated with a pardicular
position or status in society.
Groups:
Collections of individual who interact wth each other. A
common identity and or purpose.
Social interaction
It is the process to which individuals and groups
communicates, influences and respond each other.
It is fundamental building blocks of society shaping our
identities, relationships and behaviours.
Social interaction refers to the process by which individual
act and react to other engaging in reciprocal exchange of
behaviour , thoughts and emotions.

Culture Diversity
Cultural diversity refers to the variety of cultures existing
together in a place or community.
“Cultural diversity means having a mix of people from
different cultural backgrounds it can include differences in
cultural/ethnic identity (how we identify ourselves and how
others identify us), language, country of birth, religion,
heritage/ national origin, and/or race.”

approaches to things like:
