Guidelines for Assignments and Projects

MBA
Semester I 2023-24

All the students enrolled in the MBA semester III are required to submit the
below-mentioned assignments and projects on the scheduled dates. The
assignments and projects have a weightage in your internal and external
assessments for getting the degree from RTU (Please refer MBA Syllabus).
Submissions required in Semester II
 Assignments from each Subject paper
 An Audit Course File (Minimum 40 pages)
 A Project File of Major Functional Lab 1
 A Project File of Major Functional Lab 2
 Managerial Skill Lab File
 Summer Internship Report
 SODECA Records

Kindly follow the instructions given below for each submission:

1. Assignments from each Subject

Each student is required to prepare one common assignment spiral register (A4 size) with
partitions. The Assignments will be handwritten and need to be assessed by the respective
faculties.
The Spiral Registers are standard in shape and design (kindly contact Your Class CR, to
collect your copy ).
An Audit Course File (Minimum 40 pages)
AUDIT COURSE

Chapterisation Scheme of the File :

Chapter 1 : 5 Management Lessons from Vedas / Mahabharata / Bible / Quran / Religious Script - 5
pages

Chapter 2 : Detail of application of any 2 of the above principles by Companies (with explanation) - 5
pages

Chapter 3 : Case Study : Pick any 1 organization & explain Ethical Dilemma faced by it. Also comprehend
its course of action, decision & consequences - 15 pages

Chapter 4 : Case Study : Pick any 1 organization & comprehend its succession activities on the theme
“Leadership – Not a family lineage anymore” - 15 pages
Guidelines:
A 5 -7 Slide Power Point Presentation is to be created on the same. An External Examiner
will come from RTU for a Viva Voce exam before the main university examinations
(Tentative date First week of January ,2024).
Format of File Should be Standard for All
All the students are advised to follow a similar pattern and format as mentioned below:

 Spiral Bound
 A4 Size
 Title Page (same format as guided by Faculty Guides & Format shall be provided)
 Table of Contents

 Acknowledgement
 The maximum length of the file should be 35 -40 pages. It can a computer-printed report. Font
Size 12 for content, 14 for titles, justified alignments, line spacing 1.5, font style Times New
Roman, titles should be bold, Creativity can be added by adding some pictures.
