Entries
All entries are to be submitted on “Hytek” software. Fees are $20 per in region swimmer and $70.00 Cdn per
out of region swimmer. Entry fees include the Swim BC Competition Surcharge of $4/swimmer. Fees are due at
the start of the meet. Dues will only be charged for swimmers in attendance.
Deck entries will be accepted to fill any empty lanes as exhibition swims only. All deck entries must be
accompanied by the swimmer’s correct SNC nine-digit ID number, as well as the swimmer’s correct birthdate.
Meet entries must be uploaded prior to the entry deadline to the Swimming Canada website. Canadian entries
sent directly to the meet manager will not be accepted. Hytek entries from out of country, may be emailed

Deadline
All entries must be received by Monday October 23rd at 11:59pm
Scratches
Scratches must be submitted to the clerk of the course 30 minutes before the start of each session. There will be
no penalty for no-shows.
Awards
Individual age group aggregates will be awarded for first to third for 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under,
19 & Under.
Best time ribbons will be awarded.
Points for each gender will be awarded 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under and 19 & under
- 7,5,4,3,2,1 for places 1st through 6th respectively in individual events.
- 14, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 in relay events.
Meet Rules
1. This meet will be conducted under Swimming Canada rules and regulations
2. Swim BC warm-up procedures will be in effect at this meet and monitored by safety marshals.
3. Starts will be conducted from Starting Platforms (blocks) as per FINA FR 2.3 and SW 4.1.
4. Events will be swum as timed finals
5. Swimmers are limited to 7 individual events.
6. Coaches meeting will be held 10 minutes before the end of warm-ups on Saturday Afternoon.
7. Swimmers of all ages (including all 10 & under swimmers) will be subject to all rules.
a. Where possible, all disqualifications will be announced on the p.a. system, or the coach will be
notified.
8. There will be no penalty for late scratches, missed swims or step downs.
9. No Provincial or National Records will be recognized from mixed gender events.
Eligibility
Swimmers must be registered with Swim BC or another FINA affiliated organization.
Age groups will be classified 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under, 19 & Under and Masters (exhibition only).
Age groups are based on the swimmers age as of the first day of the meet.
The maximum number of swimmers allowed to enter the meet is 200.
