E Series PC Software Manual
This manual is intended to guide the operator on how to use the PC software. It contains
the following content:
Installation instruction: Introduction of the software installation.
Operation instruction : Detail explanation of the device connection, setup and data
editing, printing, etc.
Appendix : Other related content: Introduction of technical terms
Note: As a printer manufacturer, the company does not assume any responsibility
for equipment damage caused by failure to follow the instructions and the editing or
printing errors of the instructions.
Note
The PC software currently is available for following specific versions of
Memory description :
Space required to install the disk: 86.6MB.
Memory used for PC connecting to one device: about 50M
Memory used for PC connecting to one device to start print: about 250M ; connecting to two
devices about 330M , and so on. More memory will be used when connecting multiple
devices!
Installation
3. Select [Next] to continue the installation, and select [Cancel] to exit the installation program;
4. [Previous step] to return to the previous installation interface, [I accept] to continue the installation,
[Cancel] to exit the installation program;
5. [Browse] to select the installation path, [Previous step] to return to the previous interface,
[installation] to continue the installation, [Cancel] to exit the installation program;
6. Successful installation tips, check whether to run this software; [Finish] to close prompt, if
choosing to run, the software will be opened and run automatically; at the same time, a shortcut icon
Upgrade the old version to the new version of the PC and run the installation package of the
new version directly. The system will prompt you to uninstall the old version of the program
(you can choose whether to keep the data). After uninstalling, you can re-install the new
version of the software by following the above steps.
1. Device list: Displays the name of all devices connected to network (customizable device name on
the device); and device grouping created (DEDAUT the default grouping, no actual device is connected,
only for functional trial); and display the current device status (connection/printing) after the connected
device.
2. Search device: In the blank space of the list, right click on the mouse, the function list pops up,
click [Search] or click the button on the lower right corner of the list to refresh the device list
display;
3. Device icon color: gray — not connected to PC ; red — connected to other PCs ; green —PC
connected to the device.
4. Connect / disconnect device : Position it on the unconnected device , right click the
mouse , click [Connect]; the device cannot be connected repeatedly if it has been connected to
other PCs! After connecting the device, right click the mouse to select disconnect.
Note : A PC can connect multiple devices at the same time for operation , and there is no
limit !
5. Rename device / group: Place your cursor on the connected device / group right click and click
Rename to edit the device / group name.
6. Delete device / group: Place your cursor on the connected device / group location, right click
and click delete to remove the device / grouping from the list .
7. Move device to group: Place your cursor on the device (device connected / not
connected / being used by other PCs can be moved ) , right click and click to move, you can select
the group. The device can then be viewed under the corresponding group.
8. New group: Right click the blank area in the device list, select [New Group] or click the icon
in the lower right corner of the device list to edit the name of the new group, and a new group will be
generated in the device list.

click “ - ” to close the group.
10. Default group : “ DE FAUT ” is the default virtual group, including the device type E1/E2/E6 .
It cannot be connected to the real device. It can only be used by customers to
practice PC operations and cannot be deleted. (The corresponding device type, setting data and
other operations are different)
1. The default display is E1 , the display device will be automatically added after connecting the
device; if there are too many devices, you can click the up and down page to view;
2. Click to locate the current operating device, data, settings, etc. will switch to display the device
parameters;
3. Click on the device, right click the mouse, select to close/ close all devices, then such device will
not diplay in the device name bar; click on the device in the [Device List] to display it again in the device
name bar.
4 Device Information Bar
Displays current targeted device information: device serial number, device type, IP address,
client code, software version number, and hardware version number. Click to switch devices,
device information is switched in real time.
5 Data List
1. Display the data in the current targeted device (do not display the data created by
the non- PC terminals ) ;
2. The number of data is displayed at the top ; there is no limit on the number of new data!
3. The data front end displays the equipment model ( E1/E2/E6 );
4. Find : Enter the matching characters , the list automatically displays the found data ; clear the search
content to display all the data;
5. Select the data , right click the mouse , the operable functions on the data
are : copy , paste , rename , delete, delete all;
6 Data Preview
1. Click on the data in the data list, preview the canvas to display its data content, pull the scroll slider
to view the complete data;
2. The top left corner of the canvas displays DPI , unit , number system ;
3. Click to expand preview tool to zoom in , zoom out , and adap the canvas ; click the button
again to pack up;
7 New Data
Tip :
1. If there is no device in [ Device Name Bar ] , you cannot create new data , you must locate it on
the device to create corresponding data !
2. The connected device and the default device can create data . The unconnected device cannot
create data .
1 Create data for default device : Open the PC software. The device bar displays the
device “ E1 ” by default . Click the [New Data] button at the top left to display the data
editing interface. After saving, the data is displayed in the data list, and the corresponding
display content is previewed.
2 Switch the data for default device : In the [Device List], expand the [ DEFAULT ]
group, click other devices, and the device name field will automatically display the device.
The data list will be automatically switched to the device's data. The new data is saved to
the device.
3 Create data for connected device: After the device is connected to the PC , the [Device
Name Bar] will immediately display the device, the data list will be automatically switched to
the corresponding interface, and then click New Data. (Tip: After connecting to the device,
the PC will not synchronize the data already on the device, but only the data created by the
device on the PC !)
4 Create data for multiple devices: Select the connected device in the [Device List], or click
the device in the [Device Name Bar], the data list will automatically switch to the
corresponding interface, and then the data can be created.
New object
1. After connecting to the device , click [New Data], the data editing interface pops up, click the object
type to be created, and the parameter setting of the corresponding object is displayed in the setting box on
the right.
2. Existing object types : text , production date , effective date , counter , shift
group , image , barcode , database text , string , device information .
3. Preview: display all the objects currently added , and refresh the display content in real time ;
4. Data Name : You can enter up to 30 characters, including letters + numbers;
5. Object List: Displays the current data objects created in, right click the selected objects can delete
the object (the default object type object name + number, can not be modified); click on the object, the
preview is automatically positioned to its contents position. (E1 / E2 can build up to 20 objects (5
counter objects ), E6 can create 30 objects ( 30 counter objects ));
6. Click Save to save information; Click Cancel without saving data.

Production Date Object

Default content : YYYYMMDD (system date, not modifiable);

There are 7 kinds of default

Calendar Type: pull-down or roll the mouse to select the Gregorian calendar, Muharram, the
Persian calendar;
Valid Date Object

Calendar Type: pull-down or scroll through the calendar, Muharram, the Persian calendar;
Duration: 1-9999 entered manually, select the drop-down days / year / month;
Counter Object
Tip : You can drag the settings border slider , or lengthen / widen the setting box to display the
full setup options !
Default content : 0001 (default counter format, not modifiable);
Font : Default font Default , if there is an upgrade font, click the drop-down button to select ;
Font: font size, select font from the drop-down list, and can also be manually input; (E1:
12-156, E2: 12-311, E6: 12-932)
Word height : manually input font

Type: Scroll down or mouse to select the counter, box number, number plate stack (box
number through the established before selection plate stack number);
Number system: Pull down or scroll the mouse to select the counter number system, the default
number system is DEC (decimal), H 36 (36 hex), the new number system can also be selected
if any;
Minimum value : Manually input - 99999999 ~ 99999999 ;
Maximum : Manually input - 99999999 ~ 99999999 ;
Step value : If the counter's maximum value is 100 , the minimum value is 1 , and the step
value is 5 , the counter counting mode is 1 6 11 16 21 26 31 ....
Repeat value : Manually input 0-9999 ;
Index value : Valid when the repeated value is not 0 , the current content is positioned as the
number of repeated times; the input range is set according to the repeated value.
Current value : Manually input range from minimum to maximum value, starting printing from
the current set value ;
Team Object
Tip : You can drag the settings border slider , or lengthen / widen the setting box to display the
full setup options !
Default content : current team (cannot be modified);
Font : Default font Default , if there is an upgrade font, click the drop-down button to select ;
Font: font size, select font from the drop-down list, and can also be manually input; (E1:
12-156, E2: 12-311, E6: 12-932)
Word height : Manually input font

Interval: interval pull team selection, 0 / 0.5 / 1/2 /3/4/6/8 / 12H;
Team numbers : According to the interval selected above , the corresponding number of teams
is automatically generated . When the interval is set to 0 , the number of team s can be
customized from 2 to 48 .
Start : the team starts timing , manually input ;
Team content : the name and time of each team , the name can be entered
into 5 digits + letters; the number of team will automatically generate the corresponding team
information according to the above settings, drag the slider to view the complete team.
Image LOGO Object
Direction : Pull down or scroll the mouse to select the object rotation
angle 0 °, 9 0 °, 1 80 °, 2 70 °;
X/ Y coordinate : manually input the coordinate position of the
object , X : 0-3000 mm , Y : E1-12.7/ E2-25.4/E6-76.2mm ;
Select image: Click the [image logo ] button to pop up the path selection interface and select
the image; (monochrome BMP )
Bar code object
Tip : You can drag the settings border slider , or lengthen / widen the setting box to display
the full setup options !
Type: Pull down or scroll the mouse to select the barcode type. Click [ APP ] to create a
separate Mailmark barcode . Currently available types:
One-dimensional code :
Code 128 , code93 , code39 , EAN128 , EAN13 , EAN8 , INT25 , ITF 14 ,
UPCA , UPCE , G ridMatrix , Code128B , GS1RSS14 , GS1EAN128 , GS1-T runcated , GS1
RSS14Limi , GS1RSS14Ex , GS1-Stacked , GS1-S tackedOmni , GS1-StackedEx
Two-dimensional bar code : PDF417 , QR , Data Matrix , GridMatrix , GS1DM
Content: default barcode content 12345 , manual input;
Direction : Pull down or scroll the mouse to select the object rotation
angle 0 °, 9 0 °, 1 80 °, 2 70 °;
X/ Y coordinate : Manually input the coordinate position of the
object , X : 0-3000 mm , Y : E1-12.7/ E2-25.4/E6-76.2mm ;
8 Editing Data
Select the data in [Data List], click [Data Edit], the data setting box will pop up, the
modification will take effect after saved, and the editing will not be saved if canceled.
Enable printing: select the data in the data list, click [Enable Printing] to pop up a prompt of
enabling printing successfully (the message shows the serial number of the device enabled
printing in the brackets ), generate the printing report, and the device status in the [Device List]
displays in printing; you can connect multiple devices at the same time to open the print!
Printing report : display device name, data name, production counter, system time, counter;
multiple devices open the printing, can widen the printing report area or drag the slider to view
all devices' printing reports;
Stop printing : Select the enabled printing data, click [stop printing] to pop up a prompt of
stopping printing successfully, and the printing report disappears.
Notes:
1. The device parameter settings cannot be modified after enabling printing;
2. After enabling printing, the device connection cannot be disconnected before
stopping printing ;
3. The information in printing cannot be modified ;
4. It takes more than ten seconds to show the successful prompt after clicking
enable/ stop printing. Do not perform other operations during this time! ! !
10 Print Delay
Select the data, click [Print Delay] to modify the data print delay setting 0-1000mm .
11 Start Page
Note: The start page is valid when a counter or string contained in the data. After enabling
printing, gray section cannot be set!
Current value of the counter: set the content to be printed by the print counter;
Repeat index value : The counter is valid after setting the repeat value, and sets the number of
times that the printing will be repeated .
For example : the counter prints 1-10 , the number of repetitions is 5 , then the repeat index can be set to
range from 1 to 6 , the current value of the counter is set to 3 , and the index value is set to 4 , then the print
content is: 33 3 4 4 4 4 4 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 ... ; If the index value is set to 2 , the printed content
is: 3 3 3 3 3 4 4 4 4 4 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 ...
Number system : Select the number system the counter to display ;
Synchronization : Check the synchronization , all counters are associated with the same
content ;
Previous / Next Page: When there are several counters, click on the next page to view all
counters;
String editing : drop down or scroll to select the string to be edited and modify its string
content;
12 Re-printing
After the printing is started, the content has been printed once, and you can click re-printing the
previous content; after clicking the re- printing, the icon changes to be re- printing, and the
icon changes back to its original state after completing re- printing.
13 Offset Setting
Tip : Only when the connection model is E2/E6 , and the nozzle mode is combined mode, can
the offset setting be valid.
Click [Offset] to manually input the X, Y coordinates, or click the mouse to locate the save
directly in the coordinate axis. X ranges from -10~ 10 , Y ranges from -4~ 4 .
Adjust the X and Y axes when the printed content is slightly misaligned, based on the nozzle 1
(i.e. the upper part of the printed content) . By adjusting the offset of the nozzle 2 (i.e. the lower
part of the printed content), the alignment of the final printed content is achieved.
14 Encoder Status
Gray means the encoder is not connected ; green means the encoder is connected.
15 Photocell State
Gray indicates that the external photocell is not connected ; green indicates that the external
photocell is connected ;
16 USB Status

The system status is displayed, green indicates the system is normal, and red indicates system
failure (such as clock reset, FPGA error).
18 Cartridge Status
Shows the status and information of the ink cartridge . Red indicates the ink cartridge
error (the ink cartridge is empty or the ink type is wrong), green indicates the ink cartridge is
normal (the ink usage is less than 95% ) Yellow indicates the ink cartridge warning (the ink
usage is greater than 95% , less than 105% ) .
Click the icon to pop up the ink cartridge information window , displaying the cartridge serial
number ,sales code , cartridge type , capacity , printable number , used ink ratio ,
and remaining printable number.
19 Parameter Settings
Tip : The parameters take effect immediately after the settings and will be synchronize to the
device.
System
System time : set the system time: year , month , day , hour , minute , second ;
Unit : select from the drop-down box or scroll mouse to select metric mm/ inch inch ;
Calendar type : select from the drop-down box or scroll mouse to select the Gregorian
calendar , Huili calendar , andPersian calendar ; after setting, the system time displays
correspondingly according to the switching ;
Screen saver time : select from the drop-down box or scroll the mouse to select
off , 1 5S , 0 .5H , 2 H , 4 H ;
Daylight saving time : select from the drop-down box or scroll mouse to select
off , European standard daylight saving time , American standard daylight saving time ;
Edit
Edit: Select the newly created format in the date format list, click [Edit] to modify the edit; (the default
format cannot be edited)
Delete : Select the newly created format in the number system list, and click [Delete] to delete the new
date format (the default format cannot be deleted)
Nozzle
Nozzle Maintenance
Tip : E1/E2 models do not need to set this parameter, only E6 models can be set.
Printing mode: pull down or scroll the mouse to select the printing mode standard mode, array
mode, variable array mode;
Standard mode: combined mode and split mode can be set, and no need to set the number
of single-line printing interval;
Array mode : that is, the tray printing, the printing content of each printed matter in the
tray is the same, and the number of single lines and the printing interval should be set ;
Variable array mode : print different information according to the rules in the configurable
matrix, dividing into row-order printing and column-order printing; set the number of single
lines and the printing interval ;
Row-order printing: horizontal sorting according to the number of horizontal printing
pens set, such as

Column-order printing : Vertical sorting according to the number of nozzles , such as :

Number of single line: the number of single-line printing matters in the tray; 0-20
Print interval : the distance between the printing matters in the tray; 0-999mm . And can
be arbitrarily opened on the basis of P1 .
Nozzle selection

Printing Direction
Click the drop-down box or scroll the mouse to select the print direction of the nozzle (the
direction of movement of the printed object), from left to right, right to left, mirror from left to
right, and mirror from right to left.
Nozzle
Use the nozzle to print the ink cartridge, click the drop-down box or scroll the mouse to select
left spray , right spray , double spray ;
Idle Inkjet Gear
Click the drop-down box or scroll to select the gear off , low , medium , high , custom;
the custom inkjet time can be set 1-3600S ;
Other
Idle inkjet mode : Click the drop-down box or scroll the mouse to select the nozzle working
in idle inkjet mode (only the idle inkjet of used nozzled), all nozzles;
Object width: can be set only after opening idle inkjet, manually input 0- 3000mm, idle
inkjet operation is not performed within the constraints;
Use photocell : Select multi-nozzle model to select effective photocell;
Printing
Nozzle cleaning : Click one key to clean all nozzles;
Printing Settings
Printing recovery : Click to take effect, when the device is powered off and restarted in the
printing state, the printing status will be automatically restored after restarting;
Front inkjet : Click to take effect , you need to enable the idle inkjet function before you can
check it . Each time the electro-optical device nozzle is inspected, two ink-wet nozzles are
immediately ejected .
Print buffer : Click the drop-down box or scroll to select device cache data 1-5 ;
Production Line Setting
Production line speed: Manually enter the production line speed, 1-365m / min, according to
the input range limit of DPI; when an device is connected to a external encoder, it cannot
be set;
DPI : Manually input 50-600 , default 30;
Special Printing
Continuous printing times: manually input 0-9999 , 0 means to turn off the continuous
printing function, 9999 means continuous printing unlimited times (continuous induction of
photocell);
Continuous printing interval : manually set the interval of each content of continuous
printing ; 20-9999mm, need to set the length of the data larger than the printing;
Reverse printing times : manually input 0-9999 , 0 means to turn off the reverse printing
function;
Reverse printing delay : manually set the delay of each content of reverse
printing ; 0-9999mm ; if the number of reverse times is set to 5 , the first 5 data
will be printed positively, and the last 5data will be reverse printed. Cycle in sequence, the
print delay is based on the set reverse delay;
Others
Alarm Signal
There are three status indications: red light, beep, and production line stop. In each status, you
can select [Stop Printing], [Device Abnormal], [Ink Out], [Ink Alarm] [Ink Error]. The above
options can be checked.
When the above problem is encountered, the device transmits the fault signal to the three-color
lamp or the production line through the DB15 interface, and the user can set the production
line operation according to the signal, and can set the stop production line or other operations.
The effect of the three status:
Red light on: the three-color light is red;
Beep: the three color lights alarm;
Production line stop: the three-color light is yellow, and the production line stops;
20 Database Connection
Database list : Display the database that has established connection. Right click the database
to pop up [Edit] [Delete] [Rename] operation.
Delete database : Select the database, click on the bottom right corner , or right click the
mouse and select [Delete] to delete the database;
Database New : Click on the lower right corner to pop up the database connection
interface and set up the database connection.
[Type]
Database name: Within 15 characters, including letters and numbers;
Type : select from the drop-down box the database type ACCESS/EXCEL/CSV/SQL ;
User / Password: If the selected database document has password, you need to enter the user
name and password of this document; if the connected document have no password, you do not
need to enter that; (this setting only suitable for the access type)
Separator : Select the CSV document as a delimited symbol; you can customize the separator;
Browse : Click to pop-up the path to select the database . According to the above type , only
the optional documents under the path are displayed . If the selected type is ACCESS, only
the ACCESS document is displayed in the selected path , and other types of documents are not
displayed.
SQL : The selected type is SQL , you need to use the database username, password, server
name, database name to connect.
Connection : After entering the name , selecting the type , and connecting to the
document , click [Connect] to show a prompt indicating successful database connection!
[Selection Form]
Tip: You must complete the previous step [Connect] to indicate that the connection is
successful before proceeding to the next operation!
Form: Display the optional form in the connected document; select the form to be connected;
Field name : After selecting the form, the field list shows all the fields and aliases in the form
(displayed blank when there is no alias)
After the above operations are completed, click OK to save the database connection, click
Cancel to not save!
Edit database : Select in the database list, right click the mouse, select [Edit] to pop up the
corresponding database settings interface, click OK to save, cancel without saving. Do not edit
the database of established data!
Rename the database : Select it in the database list, right click the mouse, select [Rename] to
pop up the database name setting box, and save it after the modification. Do not rename the
database of established data!
Note :
1. For database enabling printing, please do not edit its database connection! ! !
2. The E1D-X/E1S model needs to register the database before printing the database data!
21 Menu Bar

Registration
After entering the registration code, click [Register], the function that has been registered
successfully will be checked below; (unchecked functions representing not been registered)
Click [Empty] to clear the content in the registration code. Each input box is limited
to 8 characters, and a total of 32 bits registration codes are required.
Tip : E1D-X/E1S models need to be registered before printing dynamic data, serial
scanner, USB scanner, dynamic number system, dynamic serial protocol!
Setting
Network Card
Click the network card to display the network card IP address of the PC in use. For example, if
the computer has multiple network cards, you can select from the drop-down box; ( The
