ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. Activity Title 2024 School Based Scouting Month Culmination
II. Rationale Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1326, s. 1974, designating
October as the National Scouting Month. The purpose of which is to
showcase to the public and its stakeholders the contribution of the
scouting movement to nation building through the development of young
people by actively engaging and supporting them to become the agents
of change in their respective communities, with this year's theme:
“Elevate @ 88: future proofing scouting for the next century beyond”.
Scouting Month celebration fundamental for students as it cultivates
essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. It
fosters a sense of responsibility and civic engagement, empowering
students to become active, caring members of their community.
Kabunga-an Integrated School celebrates Scouting Month to inspire
students to embrace service and resilience while developing practical life
skills. This event fosters camaraderie and civic responsibility,
encouraging proactive contributions to the community.
III. Objectives The 2024 Scouting Month celebration aims to:
a. Promote the scouting movement as foremost in developing the
young people to become responsible citizens and leaders in their
respective homes, schools and communities;
b. Develop among adult leaders positive attitude and dedication to
the task of helping the youths achieve their full physical
intellectual emotional, social, and spiritual potentials as
individuals and enhance their leadership and management skills
in the conduct of scouting activities in schools at local
communities; and
c. Provide the members the opportunities to enhance the skills by
getting actively involved in various activities and scouting.

IX. Resource To realize the objectives of the activity, the following persons shall act as

X. Methodologi The school head in coordination with the scouting coordinators shall
es facilitate the preparation of necessary documents for the activity.
Memorandum shall be released as basis for its conduct. This will be
followed by the crafting and approval of the activity proposal.
Procurement shall follow with the approval of memo and proposal. The
school head shall coordinate with the scouting coordinators and teachers
for the planning sessions to properly manage the conduct of the
activities. The activities will be conducted depending on the proposed
schedules.
XI. Expected At the end of the activity, Scouting Coordinator are expected to produce
Outputs the following:
1. Approved Activity Completion Report
2. List of Winners for the different contests
XII. QAME Tools A printed QAME tool will be utilized to assess the quality of the activity to
be filled up by the attendees.
