language arts teaching that a language teacher must always consider.

Adhering to the general principles of learning language arts can be beneficial to teachers.
They can now have the backbone of their teaching journey for the language acquisition of the
learners. Facilitating them to be language enthusiasts can be difficult at times, but through these
principles, they are guided on what to do.

Teaching them to write and read may be difficult, but through the spiral approach, wherein
the students start off with the basic phonemic sounds to identify the letters, they can read the
whole context. But before you delve into the complex context, you must engage the students with
imitation and give priority to sounds. With this, they can recognize the different sounds of the
consonants and vowels. By facilitating them with the correct sound and pronunciation through
imitating, they can retain the basics and are likely to be ready for the next level of learning a
language.

Using dialogue and expressive sounds, particularly in the early elementary grades, when
phonemic sounds serve as the foundation. It is important for the teachers to rely on these
principles so that the learners will understand and absorb the proper way of learning language.
Basically, making it more interactive and engaging for students would likely boost their attention to
learning.

Since speaking, listening, reading, and writing are ingrained in the curriculum and are
necessary for learning as well as for the demonstration of learning across all subject areas,
language arts instruction is a crucial component of teacher preparation. Listening and speaking
must be mastered by the students to further enrich their language acquisition; these also help
them in their fast learning of reading and writing. This is why it must be taught at the early level of
education, as it is a crucial part of the learning process of the learners. They can never be called
learned individuals if these basic fundamentals of learning aren't taught well.
