23rd January, 2023

Dear Philip,

I am just writing to tell you what a marvelous holiday

I had. I went on a camping holiday to the South of
France and the weather was wonderful.
The tent we stayed in was very comfortable. It had a
cooker, a fridge, and a TV.
We were in the heart of the French countryside and
some of the views were great. The campsite itself was
impressive. It was well organized, and the staff were
very helpful.
There was lots to do and, although I am not a very
active person, I enjoyed swimming and playing
tennis. All in all, it was a very comfortable holiday. You
should go if you get the chance. I can send you the
brochure if you like.

Well, that’s all for now. Please write soon.

Love, Linda

Remember: your topic sentence should not be too

2,3,4,5…

Next step: decide what made your vacation fun or boring. Write
three of those ideas as a complete sentence below.
