1 Step

To start creating Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection,


first “RIGHT CLICK” on the network icon in the icon tray.

The following menu will appear. Select “Open Network and


Sharing Center” just like you did with the VPN server PC.

2nd Step

Now select “Set up a new connection or network”.

3rd Step

On the next screen Click on “Connect to a workplace” and


click “Next”.

4th Step

Then Select “Use my Internet connection (VPN)” and “click”

5th Step

Now type in the “IP address (111.68.99.27)” you got from the
router in PPTP VPN Router in step 5. Then type in any name
you want for the connection. And click “Create”.

6th Step

Now connect to the VPN server.

7th Step

VPN account has been established. Click on first circle which is


indicated with number 1 in yellow color. Now click on “HEC
VPN Connection” which is indicated with number 2.

8th Step

Now click on “HEC VPN Connection”. And click on


“Connect” button.

9th Step

Type in your user name and password (given to through email and email
ID is [email protected]) and click on “Ok” and now you are
on your way connecting.

10th Step

Connecting through this IP address you can see in Yellow circle.

You have been connected to HEC Digital Library through Bahria
University Virtual Private Network (VPN).

After Connecting to VPN facility you may visit Bahria University
Library Webpage:

Click on “HEC Digital Library” and will appear under below window.
You will find all the available database link provided by HEC

You need to open any of your required databases for Example we open
to “Jstor”

After that we search any article in the Jstor database like you search
“Leadership development” write the title on Jstor search bar and click.

Now this window is appear and click on “Download PDF”.

to IEEE Xplore

After that we search any article in the IEEE webpage for example we
search Digital Communication systems

Click on PDF button or any of your required article and download
