Strategic Projects Manager, Abbott India Ltd, MD’s office

Abbott India Limited (AIL), is a publicly listed healthcare company and the largest of the 3 affiliate companies of Abbott
Laboratories’ Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) in India, offers high-quality trusted medicines in multiple therapeutic
categories such as vaccines, women's health, gastroenterology, metabolic disorders, and primary care. AIL’s PMO team has been
involved in groundbreaking market shaping projects to improve healthcare and access over the last 15+ years.

About the role:


The role is for the Project Management team at the MD’s office. This team holds a critical position in the company and works on
the company's largest and highest impact projects involving strategy as well as execution. The team closely works with therapy
areas, central functions, and/or cross-functional projects. The MD’s Chief of Staff is also selected from this team after 1 year in the
PMO team. The Project Management Team reports to Richa Tripathi, Associate Director – PMO and SFE; and works in close
coordination with Mrs. Swati Dalal, Managing Director, AIL.

Examples of key projects undertaken by the PMO team:

• Formulate Abbott India’s 5-year growth strategy and vision.


• Work closely with Business Units on their growth and turn-around strategy and execution efficiency.
• Drive critical initiatives around margin improvement and sales force excellence.
• Identify expansion opportunities by tapping into new channels and international geographies.
• Identify “white spaces” in Institutional Pharma segment, prioritize growth opportunities, develop business plan, support
launch of a new Pharma business unit.
