Distance learning is becoming more and more popular.

Do the advantages of it
outweigh the disadvantages?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own
knowledge or experience.

Write at least 250 words.

It is no exaggeration that there has remained a topic of a debate as to whether it is

better to apply télé-education. While some proponents are convinced that this trend can
offer tremendous benefits for learners, its drawbacks cannot be ignored. In the following
paragraph, bothe pros and cons of this situation will be mentioned and discuss before I
draw the positive points are more enormous.

On the one hand, there are numerous advantages in attending virtual classroom. Firstly,
learning via Internet can be time-consuming for both schools and students. For
instance, students can learn anything and anywhere provided that they have a
computer connecting to the Internet. In terms of teachers in school, they can deliver a
lesson to all classes by video instead of teaching the same things again and again.
Secondly, online education saves costs for the students and schools. For example,
establishments can be reduced heat costs or decline buget for investing in facilities
since expanded campus is not necessary. Additionally, e-learning provides opportunities
for people who have lived far from the college, the university such as the rural area. The
fact shows that many inhabitants in remote rural areas still have chances to enhance
their degree thanks to this advanced technology.

On the other hand, online classes offer more emphasis on the analytic aspect of
learning and there is less instructor and student contact. It is undeniable that it ignores
realistic learning elements and encorages passive learning. For exmample, learner at
school how to make new friends, be polite, deal with failure, and most importantly,
compete but distance learning is not. It is clear that the students percieve it to be less
successful than classroom instruction. For instance, according to a new survey via
Internet, a larger percentage of students considered classroom instructions to be much
more successful than digital education. Another drawback is that onluene classes
cannot handle the thousands of students who attempt to participate in debates.
Furthermore, if digital education is intended for disciplines that need preparation, it can
be challenging.

In conclusion, the ever-increasing availibity of digital education has gained traction

among young adults for many tears and is viewed as helpful by many and less
sucessful by others. The focus should be placed on its efficacy in order to identity it as
the most cost-effective learning method other than classroom instruction.
